c Ward hg

Released on Friday 29/06/12

Ward hg is the result of the first Vortex project designed to create a creature combining human DNA with crystal. But unfortunately Wardog’s DNA was used in the experiment and the gorilla’s genes have caused the creature to suffer some quite unexpected side effects. Physically he’s the perfect soldier – much to the delight of Dregn - but he seems dogged by one question, “What is the meaning of life?” And Oflgn suspects he may even be pondering the concept of freedom…

First development of the 2 of this character’s different developments:

Ability of Ward hg:

Damage = Damage Opp.

Ward hg has the same number of Damage points as their opponent. This number only takes into account the figure shown on the opponent’s card and does not include changes related to an Ability, Bonus or Fury. If the Ability is blocked, Ward hg’s Damage is that shown on their card.

Defeat: Recover 2 Pillz Out Of 3

If Vortex loses the fight, at the start of the next round the player controlling Vortex will receive 2/3 of the Pillz placed on Vortex, rounded down to the nearest unit, with a minimum of 1.

At 1 star, what's he been doing with his left arm that made it so much stronger than his right?

I feel sorry for Wardog... His DNA seems to be used for everything...

Another thing? Why is this card so low priced... It should be a but more that 200s...

Probably one of the most underrated and underpriced cards in UR.

Ward hg.

-Massive 8 power (highest power for a 2* damage=opp so far)
-2 stars
-Damage=Opp is excellent, especially for a 2 *. If played right, it can be an 8/5 even to an 8/8. How many two stars have those stats?
-Vortex bonus

-SoA (8/1), but then can wall with the 8 power, and you'll gain a pill :-/
-Attack and power manipulators own him (If a card has both, *Mona*, then scream and run away)
-Competition (C Wing is amazing, and Cyb Lhia is solid)

Scary stats for a two star, and leaves you with plenty of room for your Olfgn, T Gaank, Dagg, etc.

One of my favorite cards from the Vortex clan, let's give him a proper review.

- 8 power
- 2 stars
- Potential 8 damage

-1 base damage
- Vulnerable to SOA/Attack & Power manipulation

Truth is, this card isn't meant for the 1st round unless all of your opponent's cards are pretty much the same damage. Ward is for those who love to think, for those who strategize. He is a potential 8/8 mammoth in ideal scenerios. Sure, SOA kill him, but that's the case for most cards and if you lose, without SOB in your way atleast you get a pill back. T2 is where he really shines since all the big boys tend to have +5 damage.

In cases where you face mono Roots or GHEIST you just have to try and K.O or win in 3 rounds, which shouldn't be a problem in the Vortex clan. I have used him so many times in battle and let me tell you that he is an extraordinary asset that doesn't just make room for other monster 5 star cards, but he can also be used to really bring down the house. I have no clue why he is so cheap when you're getting a 2 star 8/? Defeat recover 2/3 pills card, that's insane! Buy him now, buy several copies because he is simply amazing.

Final rating: 9.5/10

This card is definetly good, and I will show you. Usually with 4 or 5 star and sometimes 3 stars cards people tend to bluff, but when you have a Ward hg things get a bit hard for them because it doesn't matter if they bluff

you see all you need to do is pill the amount you think is worth pilling on him for (depends on damage he copies) , and the higher the damage the more worthy of pilling on Ward hg is and so and so.

So that means that your opponent is either forced to pill over what his damage is roughly worth in comparison to the damage he deals or lose to you in a failed bluff of which then you get a nice damage hit off .

You will get your pills back if you lose anyway and this is a good way to force pills out of your opponent or get a good hit off ... either way it is good and it's a win win situation

and also don't forget his anti bluff capabilities because of this ... The best part is he's only a 2 STAR!!!!! :x:x:x

(btw for any noobs this doesn't work on stop opp ability or stop opp bonus)it doesn't work because you can't bleed pills with the bonus and you can't Get a good hit off with the ability if in circumstance either aren't present , either due to stop opp ability or stop opp bonus for example ,and at this point it's a lose lose situation so really there's no point

Rate green everyone so everyone knows how and is Ward hg is an awesome card :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ward hg Review

8/1 ability damage=damage opp

-8 power and only 2 stars OMG
-Damage = Damage Opp is only justified for a low star monster with a high power and that is what this card is
-Common so it is sure to be cheap and easy to come by
-Vortex bonus If this card losses you are rewarded with 2/3rds of your pillz back and if you bluff him you get a free pill

-Damage = Damage Opp is while justified in this card is a risky and unpredictable ability. It is also impossible to make a deck around it because you never know what he can 2Hit KO with it and don't know what cards your opp will play against it. Finally in a type 1 deck (a common place for a 2 star card) usually go up against other type 1 decks. This means most of the cards that your opp will have will either have low damage or their base damage is low.
-Competition. When I say competition I pretty much mean C Wing and Cyb Lhia C Wing is one of the best (possibly the best) defeat card out there, you remove 2 life from your opp and get a pill back that is as good as it gets. Cyb Lhia has the same base states and can be used without worrying to much about what your opp will play and with his poison can drop your opp life steadily by 2 life every turn until they drop bellow 4.
(only reason why I spent so much time on cons is explaining why they are cons)

Rating 8/10 this card has a basic formula for greatness. 2 stars 8 power a damage that can range from 1 to 8 with out Fury and If this card does end up losing you get 2/3rds of your pills back. Any draw backs are outnumbered by pros easily. And even if your opp plays a card with 1 damage against him or SOA 8 power 1 damage for a 2 star is good enough for me.
