Ability

Power of Baxter:

Copy: Power And Damage Opp.

Baxter has equal Power and Damage to their opponent. This number only takes into account the figure shown on the opponent’s card and does not include changes connected to an Ability or a Bonus. If the Ability is blocked, the character’s Power and Damage is equal to that shown on their card.

Bonus

Bonus :

-8 Opp Attack, Min 3

The opponent’s Attack points are reduced by 8 points or up to a minimum of 3. If the opponent’s number of Attack points are lower or equal to 3, then the ability has no effect.

Baxter- 6/3 with Copy: Power and Damage Opp (ability) and -8 opp attack, min 3(bonus)

- The Sakrohm bonus always helps Baxter wins
- Copy gives the ability to have potential massive stats against normally big threats like Cortez, Ucthul, Tomas etc.
- 3* saves rooms and usually allows Baxter to beat enemies at the same attack points.
- I really would of loved Baxter to be a reference to Buster Baxter or Dr Baxter Stockman.smiley

- His ability will not always be beneficial, they could simply use their 5* when you can't use Baxter. Which means, the stats you would be most likely to copy would be 2*, 3* and 4*. In other words, Copy is often unreliable.
- Pretty weak stats. So Like many other Sakrohm, Baxter is extremely weak to SOA.
- He has extremely high competition. Uranus, Murray, Nygrath, Corrina, Anakrohm, Dobbs Ld and Nata.

Overall: 6/10. Maybe I'm being harsh because he is not Buster or Dr Stockman, but I really find it hard to justify using him. He has too many flaws and his copy still can't keep up with many tanks abilities and bonuses.

Belly Buster Baxter after cakeman icing review on Baxter...coincidence I think notsmiley
if El Kactus and Lumber Jack = Cactus Jack
than Belly Buster and Baxter = Buster Baxter
Anyway Buster Baxter eats alot of food including burgers and he would enjoy dressing up as food...(My Club Rules)
Heres for people who don't know who Buster Baxter is

IMO, this card is pretty much a joke.

Pros:
The -8 opp atk which can help him win

Cons:
- 6/3 base stats are now below par
- 3* competition

Huge con:
- Has to copy both opp power and damage and doesn't copy + opp power/damage ability/bonus

This is a huge con since he'll see lots of cards low * cards against him (Jessie, Wendy, Murray, Scopica, and such). Now it's okay if he's being faced against cards like Scopica since he'll have the -8 atk bonus, but Scopica can make a 6 life gap so spending pillz will be worthwhile. Spending pillz on Baxter will result in 2 damage.

He can be used in T2 Survivor where he'll almost always be paired against 5* cards, but there's another problem there. Cards that roam in T2 Survivor are cards like: Jackie Cr, Tanaereva Cr, Copper, Hawk, Kolos, Ghumbo, and other huge cards. The problem there is, they usually always have SoA, +/- power/atk, or + damage and Baxter cannot copy these abilities, only the base stats.

He can't really be used anywhere. In T1/ELO there's better competition, and he'll be paired against too many 2* and 3* cards that his ability cant shine. In T2 Survivor, his ability shines by copying high stat 5*s, but his ability is relatively useless because he can't copy the modifying power/damage that the other cards get through abilities/bonuses.

Is it just me or it looks like he was white then black. smiley

I Don´t know why everyone wants to pair him against 8/8, because he will have same power as his opponent. It does not matter if you go against 6/8 or 8/8...

I'd prefer a solid 3 star card like a 7 power 4 damage SOA.
Rate up if you want to see this card in Sakrohmsmiley

you gotta remember he only copies the base stats, he wont become a 10 damage against Kolos he will be 7/4 ...

THE FIRST CARD WITH THE ABILITY TO COPY BOTH OPPONENT'S POWER AND DAMAGE.
Now hope your opponent has 8/8 Stats. smiley

~~Card review~~
~~Profile and stats~~
Name: Baxter
Clan: Sakrohm
Power: 6
Damage: 3
Ability: Copy: Power And Damage Opp.
Bonus: -8 Opp Attack, Min 3

~~Analysis~~
Positives: Great ability if used well
Decent power and damage
3 stars

Negatives: Hard card to use when not against lots of powerful cards
SoA hurts him
SoB can give some trouble too
Competition with other 3 stars

~~Conclusion~~
Baxter is a pretty hard card to give a solid rating. He can be amazing against cards like Cortez, but he can be pretty useless when copying power and damage from normal cards, and sometimes the opposite player doesn’t have a Cortez (or should I say most of the times?). He has the same generic, famous weakness, called SoA which destroys almost every Sakrohm card, including him. Overall, he’s not the card to be used often; people would rather use Sigma or the always famous Uranus instead. I’d avoid adding this card in my deck, especially because I Don’t really like damage/power copying abilities.

~~Final score~~
6 out of 10
~~Xeno
