r Devil Dog

Released on Monday 04/11/13

Every hero has their own Nemesis and recognizing El Divino's sworn enemy in the person of Devil Dog will come as no surprise. Several years ago, Tornado Dog challenged El Divino in a famous “Lucha de Apuestas” in the midst of a storm and lost his identity the moment the divine wrestler snatched off his mask. The humiliated Tornado Dog then became known as Devil Dog and vowed to put an end to the legend of the angel by stripping him of his mask in front of the entire world.

The wizard above me is wise. Follow his advice. The price will probably drop drastically.

Do not underrate this card. Fair enough, 6/6 has rarely proven to be game breaking, especially in elo. But some things make Devil Dog stand out: He has 6 damage for a 4* without having completely useless power. To support his lowish power he can stack bonus attack. And try to be honest now... You know you love SOA. Not too many SOA cards have high damage.

For me the issue with Devil Dog (other than the crushing competition within the clan) is revenge. You lose HP making it even harder to win the round. It also makes the SOA less.... versatile (though it can still be used to just bludgeon through the defense).
But on the other hand it also makes it a more interesting card. And at the end of the day, you just have to enjoy the cards.

...if Devil Dog and El Divino are enemies...how exactly did they join the same clan?

We should totally see a comic about Devil Dog versus El Divino

Well hello there No. 1000.
While it isn't the most outstanding card around, doesn't change the fact that he is the 1,000th UR card, and that alone is worth celebrating.
Here is to 1,000 more! :*:

A Huracan card that probably won't ever get banned in ELO, whilst retaining usability with its 'mini-cliff' stats.

I'd call that 'well played' to be quite honest.

Although on a first look at this card it seemed just ok, because his ability doesn't match his bonus, after I got him in a pack and decided to use him in my Huracan deck I must admit he's very tactical and has won me many matches, use him like this:

1st round: win with La Cobra or Lumber Jack (5/6 pillz should take care of that)
2nd round: bluff with El Gascaro
3rd round: crush your opponent with Devil Dog and make a loud evil laugh at your opponent while you watch the clan's finish move!!

If you loose the first round, don't start crying, you've got revenge, just play Devil Dog in the second and KO with El Gascaro in the third... :-d

His bio mentions that he lost his mask when he lost against El Divino so this is a reference to a competiton called 'Mask vs Mask' where the winner keeps his mask and his dignity and the loser well doesn't.
