My review of Elmer and all the other New Blood releases of 27/06/2014 can be found here:

What is interesting about Elmer is the fact that whilst he isn't a necessarily amazing card, there really isn't anything that much better in the 2* department currently. In his own right he is an okay release in this regard. I think Melanie is overall better but Elmer has his own niche too and the recover ability is a nice addition to the clan.

Elmer = Homer, Boff = Duff, we can also see donuts so he's an obvious reference to Homer Simpson

Actually a decent card when you consider that it's 1) an 8/3 that's practically immune to DR and 2) the first Berzerk 2* with an ability activated by defeat. Granted, 2/3 pill recovery doesn't seem overpowered, but even with 1/2 this card is probably the second-best Berzerk 2* after Melanie.

"So yeah, this guy could very well be homer simpson" are you kidding? ofcourse its homer! i dont know why anyone would debate that. i mean the boff logo is an exact replica of duffs can but with "bo" at the start.

I believe emilkun is correct,as to further back up his claim, his wife also just happens to be named marjorie, which is another name for marge. So yeah, this guy could very well be homer simpson.

I actually do not see any purpose to this card at all. Damage is nonthreatening, and I'd pair up another bluff against this guy. Of course, the only better card is Melanie.
