Based on the (and i only use this word for the lack of a better one) "mythical" being Slenderman.

A long limbed, tall man in a suit who preys on younger children, he's known to help them "escape" from the pain of reality, taking them to a better world, with more children, his... collection, of children. Even though this doesn't seem scary at all the worst of it is he's known to make a mental connection with you, if you happen to be of age 5 - 15, so there is no escape, he doesn't chase you physically in where you can hide in a room, but mentally so no matter how far you run or how well you hide he will find you. They say the children who he takes are often heard saying that he wanted to come closer, after glimpsing Slenderman from a distance, except they kept catching sights of him, each time, closer. No matter where they went, he would keep coming, and the closer he came, the closer you were to being taken.

I always liked slender man smiley

Proffer Man, huh?

A really interesting card...

The Good: Freaking outstanding stats for a 3 star card, will let you intimidate or take a big chunk of lives away from the opponent...and still keep the heavyweights for later!
SOB gives you that stability you need to get that strategy going, and considering in this case its just winnin' the round and hittin' hard, will be useful as ever...

The Bad: His backlash is moderate, and since that's his ability, its wonderful stats can still be affected by opponent abilities,
making your Proffer less of a threat...

In the end: This guy = Amazing.
Must say this isn't a card that fits everyone, but if it suits your style, you will have tons of fun playing with him.
It has flaws though compensates with other aspects. His backlash is dangerous, yet not lethal, and let's face it, he truly deserves that handicap. He can get his stats reduced, but will keep a great level for a 3 star card most of the time.
And the artwork and reference are nice, it was time for slenderman to come!

If you are a newbie or looking for budget material, get this dude!...smiley

Great card!
Can be awesome when used in round 4 when there is a difference of 2 or 1 in life.
If opponent has 6 life or lower, you can KO him with this! smiley

Wait, so what is the other thing he Proffer Man is supposed to be combined with?
Clearly he's based of off good ol' Slendy, but the mouth and multiple fat tentacles have to be going for something else. Maybe more Cthulu? I dunno.
Personally, I wouldn't have minded a Slendy expy being based solely on The Operator, but at least we're finally getting him.

...Oh yea, the card itself!
7/6 3* with SOB is rather nasty, but so is backlash, especially backlash that rips you three lifepoints.
Luckily, there is a min of 1, so should you go for the K.O, you don't have to worry about a tie.
Unfortunately, that bonus means most Roots and GHIEST won't cut you loose of that hazard ability.
Fortunately though, dem Nightmare are known for nasty life manipulation. Done right, Proffer Man's ability won't be much of a hindrance, as the fact remains that he is a 7/6 3*, and 7/6 base stats are downright nasty for a 3*.
All in all, solid card. Not too OP, Could be a problematic draw for the user depending on circumstances, but I see him as a risk worth taking/using,

Oh, one last thing kiddos.
Don't know much about Slender Man?
I suggest watching Marble Hornets.
Amateur psychological horror at its absolute finest.
I literally froze in place when looking out into my woods and seeing a white quartz rock that was, by my current depth perception, above me for a few days time
Oh, and loss of sleep. Lots of lost sleep.

Proffer Man Review:

7 power and 6 damage for a 4-star card is good.
Nightmare bonus, if activated, helps.
His ability acts to his disadvantage in most occasions, so less likely to be in a mono Nightmare deck in elo due to this.
His artwork reminds me of Slender Man.

you use him in the last turn that you want to shut down your enemies
i think you should not use him to get a first attack in the fight, never or your enemies will easy to fukin kill you if they have some high damage card
Choose him like it's your last chance to save you
min 1 make his ability safer than ever and ever
min 0 is so fukin dangerous

I don't really understand why he is so underpriced, but being common might explain that a bit, and so underused. Raw stats worth of 5*, outstanding on 4*, trainwrecking on 3*. I know it comes at a price, but think of Norman. He used to be in every single berzerk deck and halfdeck. Backslash isn't so scary.
Just pair this handsome man with mighty Uchtul and arawaka in your elo deck and fill with whatever siuts you.

Clint City, day.
