Raskal is without a doubt the craziest helmsman to have ever sailed the seven seas. Calm waters and gentle breezes are not his thing and he thinks nothing of sailing full speed ahead into storms and typhoons. And all this in spite of the insults and pleas hurled at him by his crew, who roll about on deck throwing up their guts. But if by chance the helm is smashed to pieces, well that is when Raskal’s skills really come to the fore as he can navigate a ship out of the gates of hell itself. However, his greatest strength is undoubtedly his stomach of steel, which unfortunately is not at all the case for his navigator, Tyd.

After scouring the oceans of the globe for many a long year, Captain Bloodh's Piranas have finally cast anchor in town – time to stretch their legs out a bit and let their hair down! Noisy, aggressive and thieving (well, they are pirates after all), they’ve been quick to make enemies, and the odd friend. But all in all, they’re having such a good time, they’re in no hurry to head back to sea.

For people saying he sucks, and not what Piranas need (yes I agree Piranas do in fact need a DR but I can't see them getting a stable one, maybe a 2* -2 Damage Min 1.), listen to me for a second here.

The point of this card isn't necessarily his ability. It's the fact that he's a pure 8 Power SoB, which the Piranas do not have, outside of Dalhia Cr and Tyd (but nobody uses Tyd anymore).

8 Power and SoB is one of the best combos in the game. Just look at Mefisto:
at first look "Meh, 2 damage, only gives +5 life, big whoop" BUT people still use him, because he's an 8 Power SoB.

When used Round One, he can be an 8/7.

Also, the part about him that I think is the most important, is it allows Piranas to be used in a half deck. Piranas are usually a strictly mono clan. But now? Raskal - Raeth - Amiral Coco - Parmabarb/Hawkins is as solid of a half deck that you have.

I really like Raskal, I really do, I hope others can see what makes this card good.

Anybody that can turn their sweeping mane into a pirate flag deserves some mad respect in my opinion.
Oh, and can't forget that this guy has solid stats and an ability that doesn't make himself too OP, but an ability that fits well with his stats and clan bonus regardless.

Raskal....how does he even see past that node of his O_o

Raskal is another underrated card, it seems everyone these days bases their reviews solely on cards like Spyke and MOkra existing and expecting insanity from everything otherwise they're "crap" or "useless"

Raskal is far from useless, he serves his purpose as a nice walling 4* card that is hard to counter! I see him as Coleridge's more expensive replacement, trading definite damage for solidity and the ability to be half decked and I personally think that's a worthwhile swap!!

His weakness is rather obvious, that being his low poison requires use at the first few rounds to actually really be useful and turn him into a damaging 4* but that is overshadowed by the fact his high power + SOB allows him to be a great opening card that will force the opponent to pill high or let him through for a nice chunk of damage over time.

I don't think he replaces Raeth on any level but he makes a nice combo in both half-deck and mono situations. He's a good card guys and definitely worth considering!

Hey !
Pesth is going to stab u for the back !!!

Monday 28/07/2014, 09:00

How is he useless. He is even almost a miss twice cr. Pesth has better poison because of min 0 but 7/6 is barely pasting for a good 5*. 8/4 alone on a 4 star is pretty good and even better with a life gaping ability/bonus like diana or elvis. used in turn 1 and 2 he can have 7 and 6 gap difference. Look at all the 4 stars in Piranas they are too ability/ condition dependent in turn 1 he is 8/7 and dont give me the whole his min isnt 0 thing because his min is 1 which is pretty hard to beat if u didnt throw all your pills away. enzo in montana would be a whole lot deadlier being the only 1 of 2 true 8 pwr cards there is in montana if his min wasnt 5. Turn 1 he can gap like diana with similar stats but with a better bonus for attacking, turn 2 he is 8/6 good for a half deck replacement for coleridge and more stable in the face of soa too, turn 3 he is 8/5 still great stats for a 4*.

I'm sorry that they didnt have him do poison 2 but that would instantly be over powered, they would had to have fixed it with a high min I'd rather have a low min so he can be effective on later turns if you had already done damage. If he was 8'4 poison 2 min 1 I'd think he be even more op than Sylth Cr. his 4 damage makes him able to KO easier, SOB is way better than a simple +2 life to past the gheist, roots and atk/pwr manipulation clans

He reminds me of Keith Richards' character, Captain Teague in Pirates of the Caribean.

An interesting card. I think I prefer to save a star and use Tyd, instead. But then I think I'd rather use Raskal over Pesth, saving a star and sacrificing damage for power. So for me it's Tyd>Raskal>Pesth....

If you think about it, if you win the first 2 rounds with Raskal and Pesth, then wouldn't you win in the third round? smiley smiley
So you win the first round with Raskal, and take 4 damage off you opponent. the next round win with Pesth. At the end of that round, your opponent would be on 1 health, and with Pesth 's ability, you'd win in the third round by KO. But that is if there isn't any damage reducers played against you.

Who would rather use Greesh! No one...Really I'm all alone here I mean 8/4 is good with the ability and...Okay I see your point I'm going to go sell Greesh.

I dunno this card is ok to me, Pesth does almost the same thing, trading damage for power in this card, and the lack of a KO from poison, but it is 1 star lesser, allowing us to trade Pesth for this to allocate more bigger cards
