People, unfortunately this is not Rey Mysterio, this is a reference to Sun Wukong, also known as Rey Mono.
I don't know much about it, but the reference was obvious the first time i saw his level 1 art! His staff looks like the one that Sun Wukong uses in the legend (and movie).

By the way, "Rey Mono" means Monkey King!

Guys this card is very important for huracan because he is the first card coming after 5 months for huracan

Huracan needs a card to throw around whenever they meet an SOA card, a Full Stop card, Roots and GHEIST. I guess that this card is the answer to some of Huracan's problems.

Rey Mono, despite the fact that he is a measly 6/5 with an ability that will not work all the time due to its nature as an SOA counter, is still from a clan that is good at having the best attack power if they have more health than the enemy. They even work awesomely with Jungo and cards with life manipulation abilities. Five damage isn't something to be considered as a scratch, even worse if Rey Mono won the round without pilling and your other cards can wrap up the entire match. This card could have been better if it was a 7/4 but I guess that 6/5 will do. The consolation though is that this card's meant to ruin a GHEIST or a Roots deck's day.

I'm giving this a 7/10.

People keep saying that its a reference to Wukong. That's incorrect, they both are a reference to the monkey king from the Chinese story Journey to the West

Adding 2 damage and 2 stars it's like Wolf from Rescue, who SUCKS big time.

2 less damage, Huracan bonus at only 3 stars makes it a decent card.

I mean it's not perfect or something but at least it's worth the star space it takes to add it to your deck.
5 damage on 3 stars is more than enough.
Power 6 is by default a decent one.
It's an ok card that I would give a 6 but it takes a 7/10 since Huracan had no VS SOA cards yet.
Good release.

6/5 3 star is pretty decent with the Huracan bonus and already considerably better then other 3 stars currently in Huracan.
The Stop: Ability potential for a 8/7 is prob what makes this one of the more preferred Stop cards out there imo. He can go head to head with Jackie Cr and Hawk Cr while still being more of a threat in terms of damage.

Also note how most Huracan cards generally have high damage for low powered stars. However, some of the hard hitters generally have ability that amplify damage potential or power so being against a SOA clan in general is difficult for some of Huracan.

Then again with a Rey Mono with ability, fury, and full bonus thats 8/9 +12 which means you just need a 5 damage to confirm a kill in elo or only 3 for normal play so high damage from your other cards might not be a important factor.

In general I try to avoid Stop cards as they never seem to be reliable without their ability and only sometimes with the ability. This card is probably one of the first SOA I would consider putting into a deck in general.

He is actually tied for second best as first is Magistrado Ld the only dr in the clan and tied is wonder lana who has 1 more power but less stable dmg ( unless aganist a dr) then el zombino who has good dmg but not the best ability around and then there is belly buster

6/5 on 3* hurts.
6/5 with atk manip hurts more.
If Rolph is unbanned then this guy could save you.

Clint City, night.
