The descent of JNGA XII had transformed the peaceful zoo into an area as lively as it was turbulent despite Eggman’s best efforts. But for some Jungo members, this was problematic. For example, the timid ostrich, Salsa, found it very hard to get used to the continual din. And it wasn't until the wise Ronald advised her to find herself an artistic activity that she finally decided to take her head out of the sand. Salsa experimented with ballet and took to it like a duck to water with a natural grace and agility that would have put a swan to shame. But in Clint City, the career of dancers is strictly controlled by the Montanas and the Uppers and an ostrich in the middle of a real ballet is really out of the question! So she had overcome her shyness but the system didn’t want her. However, while returning home, utterly crestfallen, she stumbled across the breakdancing championship in the Bangers’ quarter. Seeing Shann Cr and Beeboy Cr at work, she realized that her freedom of expression could only be transmitted through this art form that was open to all!

Life for the animals in Clint City’s Zoo was turned upside down the night the meteorite “JNGA XII” crash landed on their cages. In the moments after the crash, radiation emitted by the huge rock, mixed up the DNA of all the creatures in the vicinity. Half-man and half-animal, the Jungo unite behind Ongh and swear to never return to their cages.

A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him. The waitress asks them for their orders. The man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours?" "I'll have the same," says the ostrich.

A short time later the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $9.40 please." The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment. The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke."

The ostrich says, "I'll have the same."

Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change.

This becomes routine until the two enter again. "The usual?" asks the waitress. "No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato and a salad," says the man. "Same," says the ostrich. Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, "That will be $32.62." Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places it on the table.

The waitress cannot hold back her curiosity any longer. "Excuse me, sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change in your pocket every time?"

"Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and found an old lamp. When I rubbed it, a Genie appeared and offered me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would always be there."

"That's brilliant!" says the waitress. "Most people would ask for a million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want
for as long as you live!"

"That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact money is always there," says the man.

The waitress asks, "What's with the ostrich?"

The man sighs, pauses and answers, "My second wish was for a tall chick with a big ass and long legs who agrees with everything I say.."

An Ostrich? Really? Am I dreaming?

...why... Why does Salsa remind me of Battletoads in her 3* art?

Me: Ostriches put their heads in sand?! THAT'S A MYTH!

Others: What?

Lady: Yes?

Good against cards like Willy and Zoe and others that have manipulation in both bonus and ability.
Even in this situation Jean is gonna be good as well as be beneficial in other.

Though this card is just on the same footing with most cards as clans generally with power manipulation have 6-7 power in general.

Maybe another power or another damage would have giving this card something distinct in-comparison to the other cards in Jungo. I would have liked to see a 9/3 or 7/3 cancel attack and power manipulation if people wanted this card to be viable.

tl;tr not very solid card with and very situation based ability that doesn't give much of a benefit makes this card not reliable.

Just as good as, if not better than, Radek. Very nice 3*. Jungo has all kinds of trouble with the PWR modification clans. Can't wait to run them both!

Oh, and she's modeled after the ostriches from Fantasia.

This reminds me of Fantasia (1940)

Salsa, 7/4 3*, Cancel Opp. Power Modif.
Dang. I used to use Radek all the time, and he'd win me battles. Salsa here takes care of all the Bangers and Ulu Watu I'll ever need to take care of while having one more damage and handling All Stars as well.

Is this ostrich a card that will replace Scopica as the first 3*? No, not really. Like Charlie's the glue that holds Pussycats decks together, the searching giraffe holds Jungo decks together, and always will. That said? Salsa is going to be the second 3* option for many people, myself included.

Oh yeah, and she's got hands down the best-looking art of this release. Like if a Bangers got turned into an animal. Slowly but surely, Bullibullo is turning into one of my favourite artits,

Now, to get a hold of this card...

card is pretty lame, youll end up pilling heavily for a possible six damage...

well that's.. a 7 in power.. without any power/attack boost..

I think 8/3 with this ability would have been more stable and much better
the only place this card can hold is in a t1 mono jungo as it is one of the only jungo with radek and ongh that can beat those filthy ulu watu and bangers

I find her ability and decent power score to be very useful against the All Stars. Especially against the likes of Quinn or Stacy.

how is this card almost 20,000 clintz? that's just dumb

Clint City, day.
