Mort Bax appeared out of thin air smack in the middle of the Montana clan headquarters. But this is nothing out of the ordinary for a professional magician. Hired on the spot to work nights at "Borgia's Palace", he quickly became indispensable to the clan. Mort Bax has more than one trick up his sleeve to attract or eliminate Montana's enemies.

"Family, honor, money and shady plans". The specter of the Montana motto creeps over the city. Having always had a firm footing in the world of crime, the Montana Godfathers have developed a pronounced taste for power. So now, under the iron rule of the formidable Don, their depraved and violent henchmen are all set to spread fear and terror in both the streets and corridors of power.

Mort Bax - 4/7 with -12 opp attack, min 8 (bonus)

- An amazing 7 damage (9 with fury) that can 2HKO with Edd , Sharon, or a furious Ottavia
- He has a nice attack reducing bonus, which aids him in battle

- His power is a bit too low for my tastes.
- His 4*ness not only takes up a lot of room, but it forces him to use 2 pills (not including default) simply to get over the Montana 8 (as a 4* will usually lose a tie in non-random)

Just a suggestion to all the new players out there. I've faced a few people that just started and used Mort Bax. Please do not use all pills/9 pills + fury on the first round with Mort Bax unless you know what you're. 9 damage is scary, but the probability of you winning after that is low. (sorry to those who already know this)

Overall: 3/10 - There are cards worse than Mort Bax, yes, but there are so many better cards in Montana. If you're on a budget, try out Giovanni, who is better than Mort Bax for one less star. Use him if you want to learn how to play Montana, but just realize that it gets a lot better from here.

It's one of those high damage cards that all of the newbies get when they are new. Why? It's an inexpensive move and all of their other new opponents don't fully understand the battle system so they get rattled by that large damage.
And if you think about it, in the end it wasn't much of a waste. Sure, you don't use him anymore because you can't kill anyone with it anymore. But think how many clintz you wasted on him... Not many right?

In the end, he is a good card to get as a newbie. Inexpensive and efficient at that level. But don't expect him to be useful in later once your opponents are better experienced.

Mort Bax
- Once again a Card that spurs more hate than love because of power = 4. For a 4* card a better option again is Murphy or Edd in Montana deck. If used bravely he can be rewarding (if clan bonus helps) with Furry can do 9 Damage smiley. Being a Magican you need some of his Magic to help you win smiley

Mort Bax is tempting because of his high damage, but you really shouldn't use cards with power below 5 as a general rule. He also takes up too much room in a type one deck at four stars. A much better idea, if you want a fairly cheap high damage montana is to save and get Giovanni. If you start out with Mort Bax, you can use him, but as soon as you can, you should go for something better. A starter montana deck is better off using Montana's two and three star cards. Montana's best four star is Edd, but Murphy is essentially a playable version of Mort Bax.

I imagine that he fights people by yelling "MORT BAX!!!!" and tackling people.

You know Borgia's Palace actually sounds like a pretty nice place the got slots, piano, a Cabrera, a Singer, cards and is generally a cool place... you know if you can get past the poisonings, noisy people being murdered in the street, general drugging and being targeted for seeing to much

Waste a Pill on MORTBAX in random room, and who knows what he can do whit his MAGIC hehe.
It is one of my first cards, i liked him soo much i toc his name. .His level two art is good enoght for me!!!!
Ofcorce i dont use him any more, but that dont make me stop loving him.
Even if Ombre Cr (Cr) still is a much more powerful and cruel magician.
I trust that once, if ever he becomes a CR, he will use his MAGIC POWERS to gain a Ability...

I just want to make a comment on something. Montana have Angelina: a 2 star 4 power Dmg.=Dmg. Opp. She beats him pill for pill because of her low star count, and because both of them are in Montana it seems a waste to use 5 pillz on Mort Bax just to get over Angelina's bonus. He's cheap and he's in Montana but he loses when you get to the level 5+ rooms and come up against Cyan, Luba, and other high-powered Dmg.=Dmg. Opp. cards. Mort Bax should just be sold when you see a Dmg.=Dmg. Opp. card in a room, the sooner, the better.

Rate green if you like and/or agree.

A 4/7 card at max level
its damage is really high however its puny power hinders it to deliver it
but maybe with its clan bonus it can be possible to do it.
