c No Nam

Released on Monday 13/02/06

A fierce defender of peace, love and all that, No Nam was nonetheless enlisted in La Junta by force like thousands of other young pacifists. What people don't get about No Nam or Kolos or Kinjo or any other 1HKO potential cards is not that they can kill in one hit, but rather that your opponent knows that they can kill in one hit. They make your opponent play carefully to avoid being wiped off the face of the game in one move, throwing huge amounts of pills into fights that they can only barely win. These cards are not terribly good if all you do is fury and stack nine pills on top of them - but if you leave them sitting there, glowering at your opponent, you can slip in low-pill cards while your opponent is too scared to play for fear of leaving themselves open to 12 damage worth of retribution.

Also, if they're not playing smart, then totally hit them with an all-pill fury because they should damn well know better.

It is a tribute to Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando) in Apocalypse Now. At level 3 is when was young, after vaccinate the children of a village sees the natives cut the arms where they punctured. At level 4 is Lietutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore (Robert Duvall) in the famous scene in which he says "Charlie don't surf!". At level 5 is Kurtz at the end of the film become a genocidal deity.

Why buy No Nam for 1700 when you can get Dugan for 1000. I mean come on who would you rather have a 7,7 no ability for more or a 7,7 -5 opp damage min. 4
