Klaus - 3/5 with -4 opp damage, min 4 (ability) and +8 attack (bonus)

- A great damage of 5 (7 with fury). Amazing for a 2*.
- Massive reduction, able to bring Copper's damage down to four. Not many can claim to do that.
- +8 attack is always a nice aid in battle
- What I feel many don't realize is that Klaus is potentially one of Sentinel's greatest 1* fillers. He may only possess a puny power of 1 then, but he retains his massive 5 damage, which is really scary (unlike other fillers) and no one wants to take. An opponent is guaranteed (almost) to pill at least once against Klaus to avoid taking massive damage. With a base attack of 9, about every clan has to pill once to beat 0 pill Klaus (except other attack manipulation clans that aren't Montana, SoB, and base power 10, of course). Also, since Klaus is losing, you won't have to replace him as often.Also, he destroys Randy/Any other Power = opp card smiley

- Full Level, his power is a pathetic 3.
- His damage reduction's min is way too high to be effective.

Overall: 6/10. While Klaus is a pretty bad card by himself, but he is a wonderful lvl1 filler in my opinion. If only his power and damage were switched at lvl2, I'd say he would be somewhat usable (still not much though).

I was fighting against a person who had Kolos and Ambre. He attacked first and stacked all his pills to Kolos. I had nothing to stop it except for Klaus, which destroyed the opponent. He then logged out.

Klaus is an above average card for beginners to use. Although his major weakness is his base 3 power, his real power lies in deception. He can scare opponents into pilling because of his base 5 damage, and can reduce big damage cards down to a min of 4.

Since he's the only cheap damage reducer card in the Sentinel, you may be finding yourself using him in your decks past level 10 or 15... maybe even 20.

But damage reduction will be the only thing he will be good for at higher levels. By the time you reach lvl 20 and need a damage reducer, hopefully you'll have enough clintz for a Melvin, Chloe, or a Miss Chloe

We all know Klaus isn't much of a card. He has only 3 power so he won't be winning many rounds, even with the Sentinel bonus. He can DR a lot but his minimum is way too high so even cards with no life manipulation can still get around him. Then, you think of the life manipulation and the new Protection: Damage cards. "Can't life get any worse for little Klaus?" you wonder. No, actually, he can be useful and let me tell you why.

People look at Klaus and forget about his damage. Which is 5. For a 2* common which is highly unappreciated by 99% of the players. Do you see where this is going? If you don't, i'll explain. Usually, people look at Klaus as a throw-away card because of his low power and his DR ability. And if you're facing Sob or the Sentinel bonus doesn't show up, people won't even bother much. BUT if you think you're opponent is bluffing, throw good old Klaus out there with 2 or 3 pillz. This won't work a lot. As a matter of fact, this will rarely work but when you win with Klaus, you deal 5 damage. But that's not all of it.

Winning with Klaus has a soothing effect, you know when Snow White starts singing with all the birds and the little creatures around her all start cheering her up? Yeah, something like that. So... imagine how it feels when you're defeated by Klaus. It's like losing a round vs Timber. You know you can beat him, you know how many pillz they're gonna play and you DON'T want to lose to him because it's embarassing. But one day, you'll let your guard down or you'll miscalculate your pillz and Timber will beat you. You'll probably win the match because he/she overpilled Timber but you're going to feel terrible for letting that happen. Multiply this feeling x10 = losing vs Klaus.

But let's get things straight: Klaus is not good for Elo. If you use him in Elo, you'll regret it but if you're playing DTs with a low starred deck - 16* - you might want to try Klaus out because you'll deal that 5 damage more often than you think and even if you don't, his DR will be useful against those 4* or 5*, high damaging cards. I like winning but if i can do that while humiliating my opponent... i just can't let Klaus out of my Sentinel DT decks, you know? smiley

PS: just yesterday, i've beaten an Eyrik using Klaus WITHOUT the Sentinel bonus. smiley Not only that but i actually won the match because of him. And i would have done it over and over and over again. If only i could travel in time... maybe i'll ask Vortex to help me. smiley

-is a decent damage reducer with hi ability (-4 opp damage min.4)
-I said damage reducer and not an attacker
-but still Klaus can force clans without the +/- attack bonus or ability to use a pill to win
-all in all, a good 2star, damage reducing filler for Sentinels

I think this card is amazing but I guess only if you have used it you can see him shine in different situations. smiley

For example I once had a battle Klaus vs. Yu Mei and my opponent used up a lot of pillz and a fury just to deal a very good 9 damage. But he missed the damage reduction and then I won. This shows that damage=damage cards are just tempted to be played against a card with 3 power. However this card is horrible against life drainers and poison.

All I say is his 5 damage may be useful and his 3 power might be tempting, although I agree his minimum should have been at least a 3.
