Giovanni hasn't always been corrupt. In fact, he had a very innocent childhood and even dreamed of one day becoming a cop. Bu his life changed forever when Selena, his one an only love, stood him up at the alter. Lovesick and ashamed, Giovanni was deeply depressed when he met Aldo and the guys from the Montana Clan. Since then, he’s become the cruelest and most frightening of Don’s crew.

"Family, honor, money and shady plans". The specter of the Montana motto creeps over the city. Having always had a firm footing in the world of crime, the Montana Godfathers have developed a pronounced taste for power. So now, under the iron rule of the formidable Don, their depraved and violent henchmen are all set to spread fear and terror in both the streets and corridors of power.

Giovanni - 5/6 at last lvl with No Ability and Bonus of -12 Atk min 8

5 dmg is ok, but would be good if it was a 6
6 dmg is good so he can help with a 2 hit K.O
>>could be 8 with fury
-12 atk so this could even up the playing field since he has 5 power
3 stars doesnt rly take space in elo
immune to SOA

5 power, since its questionable smiley
No ability
SOB would kill this card since thats what it mostly relies on

Overall: 5.5/10
Atleast it got past the halfway point, right? Still not the best card to use, and its questionable smiley
Atleast the artwork is really goodsmiley

Let's see now...Giovanni. smileyA pretty decent 3 star card, with average power and great damage. smileyHe can be played as both a bluff and a damage card, meaning you play with your opponents mind more easily with this card then with the other Montana cards. smileyGreat as a beginner card and can still be used by more experienced players due to his high damage with good decent attack. smileyHe's got the Montana bonus, which power's him up. smiley Not affected by clans like Gheist and Roots, and other cards that stop abilities, because he doesn't have one. smileyHe is just 3 stars, so he won't take up too much room in your decks. smileyHis artwork is great at all three levels. smiley Finally, he wanted to be a Sentinel, but ended up in the Montana clan! That's just great! He would have been a good Sentinel with these stats, but now the Montana's have him!

smileyYou can criticise him on his lack of power, i guess. it's not great, but it's not weak. smiley You can complain about his lack of a ability but that is what makes him immune from SoA. But it would be nice if he had a SoB or a SoA. smiley He relies on his bonus a lot, because it's all he has, so, SoB's kill him.

Lvl 1:

4pow/1dam Ability: N/A Bonus: -12opp attack, min 8

Lvl 2:

5pow/3dam Ability: N/A Bonus: -12opp attack, min 8

Lvl 3:

Okay, the facts are above, now you can rate it for yourself, based on them (or not).

They should add Selena in nightmare as a zombie/spirit/some kind of undead who is trying to get revenge on the person who killed her before her wedding (they never say why she stood him up or if Giovanni even knows why) or she could be a Rescue because of being targeted/attempted assassinated by some evil group (it would be cool if it turned out to be the Montana) so she had to change her name and identity so she couldn't marry Giovanni but from the guilt of leading Giovanni into the Montana she becomes a Docter/Medic to help save the people Giovanni has attempted to kill

Lv1: 4/2
Lv2: 5/3
Lv3: 5/6

-6 damage helps him to 2HKO with a lot of people
-SOA doesn't affect him at all

-5 power is pretty low
-Lack of ability makes it hard for him to be useful
-SOB hurts.

Giovanni is a good card, but only up till you start earning the Clintz for other cards, such as Sharon or Prince Jr.. In the early stages when you're playing in the Levels 1~7 rooms, Giovanni dominates the field with his awesome 6 damage and -bonus, because practically no one has SOB. Outside, you will realize that while Giovanni is not TOTALLY useless, he is a lot less useful, because of the power/damage manipulations and SOB.

5 power is about the lowest you can get for an average 3*-card (unless you're talking about cards like Zodiack), and he relies on his bonus way too much to be comfortable. His 5 power is too easily overcome by other cards like Loocio and Bennie. In half-mono decks, you run the risk of drawing Giovanni as your only Montana, giving you a 5/6 with no ability and bonus in your hand. Sucks to be you if that happens. At least he isn't bothered at all by SOA, but that's just a small consolation.

As a true Montana, Giovanni specializes in offense and only that, but sadly he does not excel very well at it. He is by no means the weakest card in UR, but he is definitely not up there in the upper echelons either. Keep him for the sentimental value (after all, he did win you a lot of fights earlier on), but don't use him.

Giovanni is one of the most underrated cards in Montana
Lvl 1 - 4P 2D
Lvl 2 -5P 3D
Lvl 3 -5P 6D

He is one of the best starting cards in the game. He's cheap at only 325 clintz. and has 'OK' power at 5 and the ideal damage for 2HKO at 6 damage.
And you get all of this at only 3 stars!
I definetly don't recommend this for people who have money for Gianfranco,Milovan, Mona, Oscar, Veccio, Ottavia or Sharon.
Montana is FILLED with useable 3 stars for ELO. And there are tons of cards you can use over Giovanni, but if you can't afford them then take Giovanni.
GIovanni should never be used in Type 2 as Montana also has a lot of 5 Stars and 4 stars.

I give Giovanni a 7/10 because their are tons of other cards better then Giovanni, but for his price he's actually a pretty good deal and will get the job done if you give him enough pills and play him at the right time.

For people who want to know who Giovanni is based on. He's based on Henry Hill from the movie Goodfellas (Starring Ray Liota, Robert Deniro, and Joe Peschi). Henry Hill always wanted to be a mobster, but in the movie he starts out being a police officer. This is until Robert Deniro takes him under his wing and teaches him how to be a mobster smiley

Speaking of spelling mistakes...

@kilroywashere- don't you mean spelled rather than "spelt."

Spelt is a word but according to Wikipedia it actually refers to an ancient hexaploid species of wheat.

Now you know.smiley

This dude would've been the bomb with an amazing ability. Examples= Christelle, Rubie.

I don't know why all of you think he's such a bad card. I'm level 21, and I've used him since I started playing Urban-Rivals. He is an awesome card. I've been consistently beating all levels, from 20-81, with him in my deck. smiley

Maybe I should thank all of you. Because you guys only use him for bluff, that's what everyone expects, and it allows me to use him as a surprise attack taking them out or bringing them low for the finishing strike. smiley

No one ever expects trouble from a 5 power. I love proving them wrong. smiley

Despite everyone's doubts, he's a vital card in my deck.

Truly a great card if you want to hoodwink all comers.
