A brief explanation on CRs and why Urban Rivals comments are beginning to rival Youtube for quality:

CRs are a very basic idea: You can't get them anymore. They're gone. Bye-bye. Poof.
Now, in some cases (Looking at you, big five) this is to balance out the game. In other cases, it's due to contracts (Heeeello, Soleil) or age (Team Chman!). However, we don't actually know why UR makes certain cards CR over others.
However, the CR cards are used for very similar purposes to normal cards still. This is why Jackie Cr is ELO banned - the cards are still usable. Unfortunately, people can't seem to realize that this isn't nearly the main reason to buy CR cards.
CR cards are expensive for precisely one reason: you can't get them anymore (see above) without being an amazing player and winning them in ELO or the Daily Tournaments, where they're given out on a much smaller scale than other cards in packs. This makes them very, very appealing for the same reasons diamonds are very, very appealing: They're rare. The cards are worth quite a bit to investors for the same reason gold is a good investment: They tend to only get more expensive over time.
Please stop saying that the cards are 'only' useful for collectors. They aren't usable for most decks, and Diyo Cr most certainly isn't a great card if he wasn't a Cr. But the cards exist in their own category - they are the landmarks and the status symbols of the market, for the rich and the famous. So stop giving them reviews - you're wasting everyone's time.

Thanks for learning with us,

it isn't the best card stat wise but the art is lovely, and the reason he's cr is because he's a soleil character^__^

@Tyurru & Accel49

The Soleil characters are the ones with the yellow sun symbol in their artwork, and if you read the character description you'll see they're also the ones taken from novels by Soleil Publishing.
