Elly Mae - 8/3 with Courage: +3 damage (ability) and -2 opp damage, min 1 (bonus)

- A fearsome 8 power making her one of the few Pussycats that is safely solid.
- With courage activated Elly Mae can achieve 6 damage (8 with fury) that enables 2HKOs with Yayoi or lvl4 Charlie.
- Even with a loss, Elly Mae reduces the opponent's damage by 2.

- Lvl4 is kinda a bit of stars.
- Courage makes Elly Mae a bit obvious. So opponent DR hurts a bit. Opponent SoA hurts too. Cards like Yayoi and Yookie are the worst.
- Without courage, Elly Mae's damage is very weak for a 4*

Overall: 6.5/10. Elly Mae is ok, she really is. Her power is solid. Her damage is potentially scary. But very weaknesses are a bit too common for my tastes. With competition from Yayoi, Jeyn, and Veronica, Elly Mae won't get much spotlight

Elle, the sexy gun show gal.

This card is underrated and not well respected because of the Courage ability. Granted, in no way does she replace Yayoi, but I can see here replacing Clara for an extra star. And possibly extra damage. But the damage is not her best part.

This card is an excellent bluffing card. And any bluff card is absolutely perfect in a Pussycat deck, with their damage reduce bonus. Her high damage most certainly intimidates people into wanting to overpower here, especially if you use her on the first turn.
However, not only could you manipulate your opponent into wasting many pillz to over power Elle, you might also trick your opponent into using an SoA card to try and stop the +damage. Imagining the look on my opponents face as they waste 5 pillz and an SoA, only to realize that I didn't use a single pill on them...Ah.... dangerously sweet.

So, despite not being able to replace the goodness that is Yayoi, she is still a very manipulative card that if used proper can make your opponent blow the game on the very first turn. ^__^

If they can't hit you, they can't hurt you. Who cares about sub-optimal damage and not being able to K.O the first round? YOU STILL WIN IF THEY STILL HAVE LIFE.

Elly Mae, a 4 star pussycat.

Pros: Ooooooooh, Power. Elly is one of the 3 Pussycats who have 8 power or higher, the others being Wanda and Louise, (with ability) So thats a big plus for her already. Now, for her ability. At level 4 she gains the ability of Courage: Dmg+3. This means if she's played in the first turn she gets turned into an 8/6 card which rips your opponents life in half! Since she's a Cat that damage will be hard to recover from. She's an excellent SoA eater, since your opponent will most likely only have 1 or 2 SoA's in their hand, (unless they're running mono GHEIST/Roots) so you can use her as a SoA eater and save your pillz for cards like Louise.

Cons: Her ability is Couraged based, so she can only be used first in a turn to be at her full damage potential, but doesn't mean you can't use her second on a turn, more mindgames involved.
She has to compete with Yayoi, a superb 4* Pussycat, even Baby Q who is a sold 6/6 with SoB.

7/10 for Elly Mae: high power, potential high damage, but a bit shaky. Still a good card and SoA eater/bluff, give her a go.

rate greeeeeeeenz:eek:

Charlie's Log
Name: Elly Mae
Occupation: Former waitress, gone leading Lady for the Sexy Guns show
What can I say about Elly Mae, she's a talented girl on TV with her show, and she moonlights as a waitress at The Pink Club. But her success came with some problems, she was born in a van where she was raised in all her life, that makes any down on their luck people look like decent members of the Uppers, second she's treated unfairly by some of the people who went to her resturant that she'd used to work at. But that changed when original members Wanda and Tania were on a little trip to the beach and stopped for a bite to eat; where they saw potential in the southern vixen. And the rest is history.
