Yusuke - 7/3 with Courage: +2 Damage (ability) and +2 Damage (bonus)

- A solid 7 power, very nice for the clan that is getting rep for being solid.
- With his courage activated, he gets a scary 7 damage (9 with fury) 7/7 is great for a 3*.
- Even without his ability, he does a decent 5 damage (7 with fury) that lets you 2HKO with a good number of the clan still
- I have no clue how Yusuke lost to Otome either.

- His ability is courage, so SoA and damage reduction is obvious if you play him improperly.

Overall: 6.5/10. Yusuke's biggest flaw is the competition. Nakata, Rei, and Yu Mei are all 3* I'd rather use over him, thus leaving little room. He isn't that bad of a card at all, but unfortunately, competition wins again.

Didn't they base his off of Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho?
And he must have lost to otome at level one, because she sucks! >_>

Yusuke, the pervert yakuza.

There are so many positive reviews on Yusuke, I just have to share my opinion on this card, and it's not so positive as some of the others here.

I find Yusuke obsolete compared to many of the other 3* Fang Pi Clang cards. Xia Leming, Windy Mor are both 6/6 (with bonus) Whille Yusuke is 7/7 half the time, the other half 7/5. But at the same time, Xia and Mor have abilities on the side with their 6/6 that give them extra strategical purposes and more versatility.
Even compared to Rei, he is less useful. Rei has 8/6 and her ability is not bound by courage like Yusuke's. Giving her only 1 less damage

Even Sakazuki is arguably better, 6/6 without being bound by courage, and 2* instead of 3? Yusuke isn't really as good as he looks.
He looks nice with that high base power, but his ability tears his usefulness down compared to the other 3* Fang Pi Clang cards.

The best thing about Yusuke is how inexpensive he is, although his price dictates his usefulness.

Dearest Mother,

Long time no seeing. Yes, it is really me, Yusuke. I don't think I have ever written a letter to you, but since I entered the Golden Monastery seeking their teachings, much have I changed. How's it going? I hope it's everything alright.
The life here on the Monastery isn't exactly, huh, "peaceful". We train all day long, 24/7, barely having any time to rest. Speaking of which, sorry for my bad writing, my hand is just aching after some hand-to-hand combat training with that girl Otome.
I plan to stay here for some time, until I conclude my mastery on the martial arts. Or getting killed by Grandmaster Lost Hog while trying to do so, who knows.
But i will have to go now, for Sung Tsu-sensei calls me for his calligraphy lesson.
Yours truly,

It's Yusuke not Yasuke !!! smiley

Sorry Slify, but I'm going to have to go against you on this one.

While Yusuke is not the best three star around I would heavily recommend him over Rae. The GHIEST and Roots are undeniably solidified in the game and Rae, like Oscar and Larry, gets crushed by SOA. Yusuke’s seven power give him a much greater chance of winning the round, which, unless you hit a wall, gets in at least a solid five damage. With the rest of the high damage cards in Fang Pi Clang that puts you well on your way to a knock out.

Yusuke is a great card and at a more then reasonable price on the market.
-Level 1: 3/2 Level2: 5/2 Level 3: 7/3
-Ability at level 3 is Courage: Damage +2
-With bonus and ability when played first and unchecked Youske becomes a 7/7
-Unfortuinately he needs to act first in a round in order to utilize bonus.
-In a Fang Pi Clang deck he will always look formidable to opponents.
-An excellent first strike card

Clint City, day.
