"Family, honor, money and shady plans". The specter of the Montana motto creeps over the city. Having always had a firm footing in the world of crime, the Montana Godfathers have developed a pronounced taste for power. So now, under the iron rule of the formidable Don, their depraved and violent henchmen are all set to spread fear and terror in both the streets and corridors of power.

If Filomena and Don are this goood, and yet they are afraid of their mother, I think UR should release their mother as a killer 4* card to knock greizzo off the charts smiley. Anyone else agree?

"SOMEONE'S got to keep that idiot brother of mine in line!"

lv 1: 3/1
Lv 2: 6/1 --- Ability unlocked: Courage: Damage+4

-6 power is more than decent enough for a 2* Montana
-Potential damage of 5 is awesome for any 2* card

-SOA ruins her effectiveness pretty much
-Courage condition makes her uses much more limited

Filomena is an underrated card. 5 damage is about the best you can ever get for any 2* card in UR; Filomena not only has that, but decent stats for a 2* card as well. Play her first in a round with 1~2 pillz, and that's a 24~30 attack barrier the other guy just HAS to cross, because if he doesn't, that's 5 damage coming at him. Coming from a 2* card, that's well worth the effort.

The thing about Filomena is that without her ability, she's only got a pathetic 1 point of damage. That Courage condition isn't helping much either; people say it makes her very predictable, and to an extent, that is very much true. You're not likely to play Filomena as a response card unless you're sacrificing her, because that's only a 1 damage return for all the pillz you put in her. SOA hurts even more; fighting GHEIST/Roots decks, you might as well regard Filomena as a throw-away card in your hand.

Filomena is, for sure, not any kind of replacement for Spiaghi and Prince Jr. But seeing that the Montana strongly lack a third 2* card, you don't have much of a choice but to make do. You COULD splash a card in, but that means Support based cards in the Montana (such as Avola) will lose out on that +1 Support bonus. And thinking about it, you could probably do a lot worse than Filomena.

I think people really are too hard on courage. Yes it tends to make people predict when you are going to play them, but the bonus is that it's something they know is coming and are now forced to prepare for, or get nailed by. Courage is a doubled edged sword.

I see her more used in Mono Clan Montana, as Prince Jr is just simply better than her, and since the other slots tend to be taken up by Lyse Teria cr, Edd, and Mona who outclass her in every way. (Well ok maybe if you're like 90% of the players in the game and don't own Lyse Teria cr but then they're probably going to take Vickie over Edd or in ELO I might see Filomena used to give Montana a lower star count if you don't have Lyse. But then most people won't play Montana without Lyse in ELO )

It's not that Filomena isn't a good character. It's that she's outclassed by the best members of the rest of her clan when you're looking at filling out your deck in a split clan deck.

In Monoclan. Yeah, I'd shove her in over Pino in a heartbeat.

Filomena is a great card. I give her a 9/10 and Yes i said great because i checked some other cheap cards like Ricardo and Giovanni. They sucked. Now if u are a beginner who prefers Montana i dnt blame u cuz itz a really good choice. Filomena here has a a power of 5 ultimately cuz of her courage and 6 damage. her ability brings down some more powerful competitors. And shes cheap. But without being in a montana deck shes useless. Rate this green if u are annoyed of seeing all the good cards being high priced and the cheap ones being trash. Dnt wrry cuz im going to find out more cards smiley and if u knw me i have done also some other clans like vortex, ghiest and the piranas. So if ur a beginner just relax and wait for more updates from me or u can directly mssge me on which clans u want reviews on smiley

One of the best montana cards for ELO.
2 stars=6/5 is way to good.

Only problem is SoA... but if used correctly this card is a perfect buy for montana users. One of the only cheap montana cards with high power... and her damage is high as well.smiley

hahah...after centuries the all awaited montana's have returned..
- An excellent card..except for that courage in that ability of hers...
- Well an excellent all round card.
- At lvl 2: A 6/1 card with an ability of a +4 courage to damage...
- an excellent 2 star replacer for pino...
-but SOA cards kill her(pun)..
-a 2 star 6/5 just what the montanas needed in time....
Njoy the Game guyz..

This card is quite underated. In good conditions shes a 2* 6/5. In a clan with quite a few good 4 and 5* cards she makes space without being a wasted card you hope you never draw.

If your worried about her courage then think of her as an unexpected blocker too and Power 6 isn;t terrible for that. As people say above, opponents expect you to use her when you play first, so people may under-pill their attacker expecting you to block with a lower power card.

Monday 10/11/2008, 17:34

so its a 6/1 where her ability is courage based, and prince Jr is SO MUCH better, but in an ELO deck where usually there are at least 2 two stars, what else care you going to use?? ricardo? algelina?? pino??? she came at a very usefull time and fits in every montana deck.

art sucks though....

She's a fabulous beginner card who looks exactly like my nonna smiley

6 power for a 2* card is average.
If her ability works she can have 5 damge which is good for a 2* card.
She is only 300clintz.
The clan bonus -12 opponent attack means that the opponent will have to usally use 2 more pillz then you to win.

Without her ability she only has 1 damage which is really low.
The minimum of 8 in the clan bonus means that it dosn't work in a no pillz fight usally.
