The opponent’s clan Bonus, if activated, is cancelled. If the opponent's clan Bonus is not activated, then the ability has no effect.
What causes Havok and Mayhem?
- SOB bonus
- 8 dmg
- good card for beginning Piranas players
- fair price
- it might make your opponent waste some pills
- base 5 power
- Not really ELO helpful
- loses to the competition for the #1 lvl.4 spot
Overall: This card I think is the way to get started for beginning Piranas players but competition leaves this card in the dust. He's pretty much Zdrone.
* Their not anything that will make this card special. It's a good basic and simple card to use.
Mayhem is a decently useful card; problem is that Sliman (C) is entirely more useful (and currently half the price of Mayhem) and provides a much greater return on investment.
Mayhem @ level 4: 5/8, no ability, SOB
Sliman @ level 5: 5/8, -4 pow min 5, SOB.
The extra one star is an extremely worthwhile investment in putting Sliman (C) in a deck as opposed to Mayhem (C).
The 5 power is extremely low for a 4/5 star, which requires the Piranha player to outpill his opponent. High star cards should have a high payoff value on victory (high damage, lots of pills/life, etc) otherwise they're not worth the investment in the deck.
The problem with outpilling your opponent with Mayhem is that it is a risky strat for the Piranha player, as several of the Piranha abilities (Pill abilities especially - Hawkins, smokey, Trey, etc.) rely on pill control and outpilling your opponent. If you overpill with Mayhem and lose, you're not going to have much less leverage in getting your other +/- pill cards off. But while Mayhem must pill tons when going up against the 6/7/8 powers just to ensure his damage, Sliman only needs one additional pill, and can counter cards with 5-9 power.
Regardless, the 8 damage works perfectly with the Piranha deck, as several of the Piranha's frequently used characters have 4 damage (Sting, Andsom, Tula, Tyd, etc), which allows Mayhem to create the opportunity for an unexpected 2HKO.
Level 1: 1/3
Level 2: 2/5
Level 3: 4/7
Level 4: 5/8
Overall rating: 5/10. Not useful filler as it's big (4*) and for a single star more, a much better card (Sliman) can be obtained.
Level 1: "Mayhem sho exshited he be boom boom guy!"
Level 2: "Mayhem found shey boat out dare!"
Level 3: "Mayhem have BIG boom boom!"
Level 4: "Mayhem EXPLODE DEH' UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!" "Mayhem thats impossible" "Shut'p - Mayhem makesh world go Boom Boom!" "Mayhem your being unresona-" "BOOM BOOM! NOW - ME BOOM BOOM"
Sadly, that day, Mayhem blew up the Universe.
What an idiot.
SIgh, should'a at least been 5/8 with an ability, like courage +1 power.
*Aktara **Mayhem ***Sliman each star makes them abit better
Mayhem: 5/8 no ability with SOB
- 8 DAMAGE
- 5 power is decent
- only 5 power
- no ability
- Not so cheap
Overall: 6.5/10 Not bad but that doesnt mean he's worth the price. Also the reasons Sliman is less expensive is because~ Mayhem has 1 less * and he has a mission. Still, I wouldn't get him if I were you. Sorry for the lack of thought in this.
The Evolutions of Mayhem
1: Mayhem was happy to be the ballistics expert!
2: But then he decided to try out navigations.
3: He didn't like it though so he switched back to the cannons.
4: Then he decided to make the "Mayhem Cannons"!
P.S. He's an awesome card
lvl 1 Mayhem:No ability 1 power 3 damage
lvl 2 Mayhem:No ability 2 power 5 damage
lvl 3 Mayhem:No ability 4 power 7 damage
lvl 4 Mayhem:STILL NO ABILITY!! 5 power 8 damage MUAHHAHAHAHAAAAA
What are you all on about? This is an OK card. Not great. Almost bad. 5 power usually gets you nowhere without an ability, Mayhem is also worse than Zdrone since he lacks the attack boost. If it's working against newbies it doesn't mean it's good. Mayhem and the likes are nothing but FOOD for cards like Cyan or Luba.
Mayhem might have a spot in a mono deck, but when considering a half deck, he should stay out.
