Scubb - "Fearsome Factory"

Ability Summary:
'Support: + 1 Pillz' = If you win, you receive +1 pillz for every Piranas card in your deck, including Scubb himself. That's +4 as a constant in a mono setting.

+ In a mono setting, Scubb's ability equates to the first 4 pillz used being free (dependent on a win).
+ The above can be viewed as very fearsome +24 attack if the battle is won.
+ 5 dmg is good for the clan.
+ Great to use as a bluff in two ways:
1. No pillz to force your Opp to pill heavily.
2. Low pillz to try for a massive pillz advantage (risky).

- 6 Power. Can be tricky to use Scubb if you don't have the pillz to pump into him.
- Only /really/ viable in a mono deck.

Scubb is an almost perfect card for mono Piranas. While I do love Kristin's 'All Stop' potential, when I'm aiming for 25* I find it very difficult not to consider Scubb instead. While he does have great first round potential (both bluff and attack), I find he's a card best played in the 2nd or 3rd round. A good strategy is to your first card as a bluff to try to make your Opp waste pillz, then use Scubb to hit that 5 dmg and claim back enough pillz to retain your advantage.

He'd be a perfect ten if not for his two main flaws, but those flaws are easily overshadowed in a mono setting.

To me, this card ownssmiley BUT only in a monoclan environmentsmiley still, all y'all Piranas fans out there, get him, hes worth your clintzsmiley

Lets see his pros:
smiley +4 pillz IF all your characters are Piranassmiley
smiley able to bluff by either not putting pillz or 3-5 when your opponent least expects itsmiley
smiley most people wont bother fighting him or overpillsmiley

smiley 6 power and 5 damage, not ideal for a 4*...smiley then again, he pluses 4 pillzsmiley
smiley risky against power manipulators if you're pilling him with 5-7 pills e.g Trish or robb
smiley risky against attack manipulators if you're putting 1-4 pillz e.g Sashasmiley
not a good card to play in the first round if you start if your opponent has SOA as an ability like Dieter or leviatonn
Needs his bonus a lot especially against Montana or Upperssmiley

16/20 I like playing him on round 2 or 3 and finish off with Selmasmiley

Scubb, the fish-dude

LVL 1 - 2P / 1D

now this is a nice powerhouse card, if you're into mono-Piranas deck, the 5 damage (compared to Katan's 6) might be
the number one reason that his price drop down do ground zero (from 22-30k down to just a lofty 3k)
second reason might be that he is a yes/no 4-star in a mono Piranas deck, since Katan is a staple finisher who can deal
up to 8 damage, and she can be used even in a half deck.

still, the support: +1 pillz is a MASSIVE 5-chunk damage threat to a Piranas arsenal, on a mono Piranas deck, he's a perfect
bluff / kill card. Useless on a halfdeck, but still an A-OK for those Pirate-Pill eating players smiley

Scubb at first was nothing more then another money hungry average joe. Some may think this bad of me but i am happy that Scuub got cursed he has proven to be a great tool I can send him and Tula in the dead of night and in the morning there will be five sunk ships. Also it brings a smile to my face when we force the initiate Piranas to walk the plank and there is a fin swimming below and having him drag them under.

Maybe i should force all of our Piranas to get cursed.

This card is an absolute beast in mono. simply unstoppable in some scenarios. There have been times where I have seen him with smokey and together they can be used as an assult on your opponent. With his ability he can be tanked with a huge number of pills. Combined with SOB, his ability isn't stopped by clan bonuses and can often result in upto + 24 atk !. In fact he can be used as a great bluff, attacker and even a smart way to earn some pills. There have been so many times when I have called my opponents bluffs with smokey and Scubb and gotten 4 extra pills! Depending on preference. Scubb can be a great replacement for Katan.
One of the most dengerous cards in the game at times. There are some cons. He can only really be used at lvl 4 and 5 damage doesn't equal a 2 hit Ko. His ability isn't useful on the last round either. Overall a great card for Piranas if future releases keep up then Piranas will be a very tough clan to beat.

Most people familiar with the sea have seen a few curses, and I myself and no exception. Those with curses don't often last very long from fear from their crewmates that think they are dangerous or that they are less useful then a hassle. However one crew member has stayed with use for quite a while even though he was damned by the Naliah the queen of the Aquanis, for stealing treasure of their sacred city. However what he stole was hardly treasure as because the trident was simply plated with gold, not fully made of it, and the statuette that he believe had magic powers.

This was a painful and drastic change for him and now he can no longer breathe air but for me it was a gift in disguise. You see when one of your crewmembers is underwater he can tell you when the Sentinals send a torpedo at you or if there is a sand bar right under the dark water. He also gained a strange amount of strength and is good in a high sea battle when he can rip the planks from the bottom of a ship and take the treasure from the ship even at the bottom of the ocean.

And all of this for some spare raw meat and tossing over a bottle of rum every once in a while. Maybe I'll have the next nnew member of the crew steal something from Queen Naliah
