Before, Borss used to charge straight around the place without giving a second thought to what might be in his way and as a result often ended up with a sore head. Since his metamorphis, Borss still charges around the place but now he wears a crash helmet. You can’t say that come the evening, his head hurts any less but what is true is that now he inflicts even more damage on anyone unfortunate enough to get in his way.

Life for the animals in Clint City’s Zoo was turned upside down the night the meteorite “JNGA XII” crash landed on their cages. In the moments after the crash, radiation emitted by the huge rock, mixed up the DNA of all the creatures in the vicinity. Half-man and half-animal, the Jungo unite behind Ongh and swear to never return to their cages.

Borss the Boar:
Level 1: 2/2
Level 2: 6/2: Ability: Stop opp Bonus
Bonus: +2 Life

Please don't underestimate the value of a 2-star SOB. Sure, 7/2 or even 8/2 (a la Lehane) would have been *better*; but this IS a useful card. Like it or not, many players will be forced to use Borss, especially in ELO, where bonuses mean so much more than in T2. Honestly, I would rather have a 2-star SOB with only 6 power than a 3-star SOB with 7 power (etc.), particularly within the scope of a clan already stuffed with wonderful 3-star cards. Taking a broad look at the Jungos, most of the cards seem to fit into place rather well, and Borss is no exception. You'll be more than happy to draw him against Rescue or Montana. smiley

Borss Review

-SoB is always welcome
-4 Lifegap is nice for a 2*
-Hakuna Matata for lyfe!

-6 power is low, especially when compared to...
-Competition: Pegh, Jean, Mindy, Ashiko, and perhaps even Wendy could be seen as better
-At least he isn't the worst

SoB just can't get no lovin' in the Jungo... Sure, as most point out, he has his uses but when it comes down to filling in the rest of your deck and you have to choose between Borss, Pegh, Jean, Mindy, Ashiko, or even Wendy; then Borss has some stiff competition. However, I would still pick him over Ronald...

All it would take for Borss to see more playtime would be one more power. A 7/2 SoB in the Jungo would at least move him up to the #3 spot for 2* in the Jungo lineup. But as it is now, 6 power just isn't going to cut it. Even if you acquire SoB with it. Not with Jean, Pegh, Mindy, and Ashiko in the way.

NOW, I do recommend this card for beginners. I used it all the time when I started playing. It's cheap and has a 4 life gap for a 2*. But then Jean came out and slowly but surely he took Borss place. But maybe you don't have the clints to afford Pegh or Jean but you have Borss. Fear not! Hakuna Matata! Use Borss and use him well.

When I play Borss, I find that he makes a decent defender, but an even better surprise attacker. For example, when it is your turn, quickly throw out Borss with 5 or so pillz on him. Some may think you are just trying to burn a turn but then surprise! I have beaten some pretty nice cards this way. It CAN and WILL backfire sometimes. When it does, you can usually throw in the towel cause you just wasted all those pillz on minimal damage.

Borss works well against pretty much all clans. Of course, you don't stop much against Roots, Gheist, and also the Pussycats. Use him in Mono or half deck. If I chose to play him and had to pick a 2* to switch out with him it would probably be Jean since Pegh is so valuable to the team.

This warthog has a sensitive soul though he seems thick skinned. So when you choose to move on to better cards let him down easy.

Lvl 2: 6/2

I love this card, it comes in handy all the time. Wether you use it as a bluff or against the FANG PI CLANG, Bangers or Ulu Watu, is helps out in all situations. Plus if your down by 3 or 4 pillz this card will tie or win the game!

SOB is always a useful ability to have however, he competes with pegh and mindy who are both really good 2 stars. not the best 2 star but still has his uses.
