Emergency nurse, Joana accompanies the Rescue clan on all their call-outs. They particularly value her skills as an anesthetist; whether they’re used to put patients to sleep before Mark cuts them in two or to paralyze the clan’s enemies before Lobo or Ghoub knock them senseless.

I think the Rescue and the Jungo should switch their clan bonuses with each other, considering their themes. +Attack is wild and +life is more... hospitaly. : )

Joana - 5/5 with power = opp's power (ability) and Support: +3 attack (bonus)

- A very decent 5 damage (7 with fury). Can kill with Alec, Ghoub, Marco, and other furious Rescues
- Attack can potentially be very good. If her bonus, your opponent will almost always have to overpill you to win.
- You make me wanna Lala! This is a long shot, but she reminds me of White Cap from Elite Beat Agents (It's a Nintendo DS game) ! smiley

- Like almost every other Rescue, SoA has the potential to weaken her, but not kill her. She still has a somewhat decent 5-power. Although that doesn't seem like much, don't forget that this is the Rescue clan (Lobo and Slyde have 5 power too)
- Weak against power/attack modifiers, espeically ones with SoB (like Sargh or Tula).

Overall: 7/10 - Joana is a pretty good card, in my opinion. The problem is that Rescue has a pretty good line up of 3*s like Anita, Elvira, and Slyde. Still, I'd consider her over Bobby, Mark, and possibly Lobo in most decks~

@timeisclintz did you ever think that maybe the reason jungo has +2 life is because they're life has been manipulated by a giant meteor. Also in a real diaster situation. The only thing that can save people is teamwork so hence the support ablitiy.

I'm really surprised Joana is the cheapest Rescue card out there. She is amazing. Her ability all but guarantees as long as you out pill your opponent, they're taking 5 damage (Outside Pussycat and Allstars), and that's the other thing. Joana's 5 damage is one of the highest options Rescue's got for hitting hard (2nd 3* behind Lobo, and 7th overall), which is a real weakness for that clan. But if you combine Joana with Sledg or Ghoub, that's a THKO right there, and a pretty reliable one at that with the bonus. Anyone looking to get into Rescue needs to get her, IMO she's 3rd best 3* for Rescue (behind Anita and Elvira)

Joana is one of the best bargain cards in UR. Seriously, how many cards under 150 ctz do you see actually being played.

Here is a rescue preset I made for under 3,000 ctz:

Great card, problem is shes facin ELvira/Anita and Slyde

Personally, ill say it again PERSONALLY id use her over Anita but not the other 2

With the ability to be at 8 power with +12 attk she is a HUGE threat. Problem is power manip will kinda stuff her up a bit, and dun een get started on Mona ugh

Still 5 damage is 5 damage and a possible 8 power is 8 power and YESSSSSS + 12 attk is +12 attk smiley JUST SAYINGsmiley

i rate 7.5/10

OK, people. Why all the Joanna bashing? Sure, she's not perfect, and she could be 4/6 or 3/7 and be better in certain situations. But look at it this way:
5 power is enough against SOA with her bonus (whereas 3 or 4 power would be much worse)
she has 5 damage for a 3 star card, which is much better (and more solid) than any other Rescue 3 star except lobo, but his 5 power is all he will ever have
if played right she can be an 8/5 3 star, which is pretty darn good
and.... she is only around 150 clintz as compared to over 600 for many of the other 3 star Rescue

Overall I give her a7/10 for a 3 star card

Well joana is a decent card.
5/5 pwr=pwr opp.
She is a strategical asset to the rescue cause of the bonus.
She is kinda easy to predict but who cares with those stats and bonus she is great.
She could really replace most of the other 3star rescue, like...(my suggestion)
lobo, tanner, pam and bobby.
Overall she is great to hav in ur deck, its just that lobo has a slightly better advantage if an soa is present.

Thursday 31/12/2009, 08:37

most underated card in ur...even if their is a soa..it would take atleast a 7pwr matching her pillz to beat her bc of her bonus..with her ability activated...shes virtually unstopable...and how is this card predictable..bc u think she will go after ur strongest card...how bout this her bonus kills low powers...so thats who i would go after or i could just take out their strongest card completely unpredictable card in the hands of a skilled player

this is my first card form joke...
1. "Ok, this needle wont hurt a bit.
2. "Ohhhhh, so thats what it means by 'nerve point'.
3. "Ok, because you wont stay still i will have to take drastic measures...Open wide!

Does anyone else think that Rescue really needs a pill manipulator? Does anyone else think that Rescue needs a replacement for Elvira since she was the only pure SOA of Rescue? Well, I don't think staff will give us our SOA back, but what they COULD do in the mean time is give Rescue a three star pill manipulator, something like a 8/2 or 7/3 -/+ 2 pillz OR maybe even a defeat card like a 7/3 or 6/4 defeat: -/+ 1 pillz or a 7/2 or 6/3 defeat: -/+ 2 pillz. I honestly feel like these would be excellent new Rescue cards that wouldn't be too overpowered, maybe the defeat: +/- 2 pillz cards are asking a bit too much, but if Junkz can have a card like Tremorh, I think that Rescue should be able to have a similar card with slightly lower base stats. That's enough of my rant. Hopefully this will get rated up enough so others can see. Thanks for taking the time to read this guys.

Clint City, night.
