u Asporov

Released on Friday 08/05/09

While his cousins of the same age were still making a mess with their baby food, Asporov was already replaying history’s all time, greatest chess matches. Thanks to an IQ, totally unheard of among the citizens of Clint City, at the tender age of 6 he became the youngest and in fact, the only chess champion the city has ever known.

First development of the 4 of this character’s different developments:

-2 Opp Power, Min 1

The Power of the opposing character is reduced by 2 points or up to a minimum of 1. If the opposing character’s Power is lower than or equal to 1, then the Ability has no effect.

Asporov - 7/3 with Support: +1 Damage (ability) and -2 opp power, min 1

- Solid 7 power, virtually 9 with bonus, making him tied for the strongest 4* All Star (Marina also has 7)
- His damage has the potenital to be 1 less then Alec's, capable of doing 7 damage (9 with fury) that really widens the gap
- Even without his bonus, he still has a solid 7 power
- Being a formidable 9/7 unopposed, Asporov is a scary bluff~
- I love how Beach Volleyball isn't a sport, but chess is (not that I mind since I love chess)

- SoA weakens Asporov to a meager 3 damage.
- 4 stars means he will have a somewhat tough time being in your deck

Overall: 8.5/10: While Asporov may not replace Marina and Striker in ELO decks, I think Asporov has much potential. In Mono All Stars, be is a scary beast capable of 2HKOing with many. With raw power and shaking, yet strong damage, Asporov is a great card to have

Anyone ever wonder what would happen between Asporov, and Milton in a chess match?

I think this card's 2nd level is useful.

The International Olympic Committee (through ARISF) recognises both chess and Bridge as bona fide sports. Also, SportAccord; The international sports federation association recognises five non-physical sports in total. Those being, Chess, Bridge, Draughts, Go and Xianqi.

Finally, Beach Volleyball has been a sport since it's conception in the 1920's and has been an Olympic event since 1996.
