Ability of Melvin:

-3 Opp Damage, Min 2

If Melvin loses their fight, the Damage inflicted on Melvin’s owner will be reduced by 3 points or up to a minimum of 2. If the winning character’s Damage points are lower than or equal to 2, then the Ability has no effect.

Attack +8

Sentinel's Attack points are increased by 8 points. (Remember: Power * Pillz = Attack)

Melvin - 6/4 with -3 opp damage, min 2 (ability) and +8 attack.

- Hu-rah! Sentinel has a non-5* damage reducer! And it reduces damage by a whooping 3 to a semi-measly 2! Excellent!
- More-so, +8 attack means that unless your opponent has an attack-modifying ability or bonus, they gotta pill to win.
- 4 damage (6 with fury) is nothing to sneeze abotu either and can win you some games against unsuspecting opponents.
- Bristone much?~ I think he looks kickass! Kinda eminds me of Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes (shades do it for me), but that might just be me.

- 6 power is a little on the weakish side. Especially against SoB
- Er, the obvious "SoA makes this card less useful, because then you don't have damage reducing"?

- Overall: 8/10. Great card, Great reducer. I'd love it to pieces if it had 7 power, but then I'd probably be asking too much~ Use it along side or instead of Dayton and/or Skiner and you got yourself a great deck in the works~ smiley

I'm so suprised no one has noticed what Melvin is a referance to:
Mad Max, who in the first movie at the least, drove a car known as (wait for it) THE INTERCEPTOR!
Plus, Max's Sawn off shotgun happens to make an apperance here as well.

Melvin has to be my favorite card in the game, for that reason, and his art.

And if anyone has read my Skeelz reviews, I hope you will all be glad to hear I will be doing Sentinel ones from Melvin's perspective. See you later!

Melvin's Team Assessment Files:

Hey mates, the name's Melvin. Melvin Rockatansky. In my home country down under, I was the top 'pursuit man' on the force. Basically, that meant that if someone thought they had a chance of getting away from the law by way of car, I would get to chase them down faster than the speed of sound. Soon enough though, I caught wind of a damn fool by the name of 'Enzo' in Clint City. They said he could outrun any car on the face of the bleedin planet. Now that was a challenge I couldn't pass up.

No one, and I mean NO ONE drives faster than I do. And no one is more dangerous in a car than I am.

So I left my home town, and drifted to Clint City on a boat. Worst week of my life. I hate being on the water. When I finally arrived, I found the police force to be extremely lacking. Crime was rampant in the streets, and almost no one was there to stop it. I happened to express this thought very... strongly. In answer, a great big man with blonde hair introduced himself as Copper, Leader of 'Sentinel', the REAL police force of Clint City.

I quickly joined, and was rewarded with the fastest car known to man. The Interceptor. While I still preferred my old, black, Pursuit Special, the new car would suit me well. And that's how I came to join Sentinel. Not the greatest story, but it sets the framework. Catch you all later.

He is way overpriced, i don't care if he is the only good DR for the Sentinel. 6-7k is way too much for a card that is the same as Bristone, who costs 600-700, who is also the only usable DR for her clan, the GHEIST. The only thing that is different is the bonus, and sorry, i'm not paying 6-7k just for his bonus. People talk about "he is worth it cause he is the only DR, his bonus makes him able to attack, and that's why he is worth so much." To me, no it doesn't, your telling me this card should be in the price where Uranus used to be? NO NO NO and NO. I think i have a problem with him because of Bristone, and there HUGE price difference even though they are the same card expect in bonus, if someone could tell me why i would love to hear it, though i don't think it deserves this big of a difference.

He's a good card, but not a great one, and he should NOT be in the price range of Hawk, Dorian, Aurora, Oshitsune, Shayna, and Marina.

It's sad that all the staple cards now a days are so overpriced...

I really hope that a new staple is released for a Sentinel LD (maybe either a 2 star dr card or a 3 star card with solid base stats?) smiley
