Jay is cool, very cool. Cool like someone who knows that at any moment his skin can become as hard as stone protecting him from bullets, the sharpest knives and even pianos that might accidentally fall out of the windows of Borgia's Palace. Cool like someone who knows he’s practically invincible and…who’s also a hit with the ladies.

In the Skeelz Academy, all subjects are given equal importance. Whether it’s the art of combat, mastering Space and Time, controlling the Mind, Nature studies or Death exploration, nothing is discounted. And to ensure the same tolerance reigns in the streets as in their Academy, the Skeelz are putting their neutrality to one side for the moment to bring about peace...through the force of their punches, of course.

Caelus Student Review Log:

Student 211

When Jay first walked into the Academy, I shook his hand to give him a kind greeting. Little did I know what a firm grip he had... really firm. My hand was in a cast for a week. That's when I just knew that Jay was going to be the #1 student in combat. I wasn't wrong either. Withen a week, Cley had broken his hand on Jay's back. Apparently, Jay was boasting on how much punishment he could take, and Cley took him up on the bet. I always told that man he didn't have a mind for gambling.

But Jay's rock hard skin was just the tip of his skill iceburg. He also had a way with people, evident in his first week, when he had convinced Redra to let him listen to his MP3 player in the library, a feat unheard of before that day. He didn't stop there, his teachers, even Cley who's hand he ravaged, seemed to have a soft spot for the guy. Except Deebler, but he even gets mad at me now and then.

But back on the subject of his power, Jay has proved himself worthy of the Skeelz name and I dearly hope he returns next year. Maybe one day when Cley bites of more than he can chew, Jay can take over his place as head Combat instructor.

Jay - 7/5 with Revenge: Damage +4 (ability) and Protection: Ability (bonus)

- Decent 7 power.
- But his damage is where it's at. 5 damage is nothing to sneeze about in general and then another 4? Amazing!
- Forces your opponent to think i nthe beginning of the game. "Should I beat this Redra? If I do, I know Jay is coming....but with how many pills?..)
- And of course, you can simply play Jay without the Revenge to screw with your opponents even more
- Oh yeah, and yes, he kills with Timber when Revenge is activated and furious
- I think I've seen his final art work somewhere before......OH right, in my nightmares smiley

- Not the biggest fan of 7powered 4-stars when they have no attack and power modifiers. Might just be me though
- 4-stars is quite hefty
- Abiltiy is Revenge, so it's situational.

Overall; 7/10, Lovely damage, decent power, great artwork! If he had just 1 more power..he'd...be like Revenge-Kolos without SoB, nevermind. Still a lovely card smiley

★☆☆☆ 3/2
★★☆☆ 5/2
★★★☆ 5/5
★★★★ 7/5 Ability - Revenge: damage +4
Skeelz bonus - Protection: ability

Jay is awesome! It doesn't matter how you look at it.There are plenty of good sacrifice cards, and when you use one he becomes a whopping 7/9 (11 with fury), and he isn't Elo banned? Better yet, his bonus makes it impossible to cancel his ability, unless a card has BOTH stop ability and bonus. All of that considered, he is only four stars... What's not to love? Yes, the revenge could be viewed as a pain, but if you get the right circumstances (which isn't hard to do at all) he is lethal. I'm pretty new to UR (8 days) but from what I've seen in Elo, I would suspect that Jay is going to be Elo banned when the rest of the Skeelz set comes out. That's just my speculation though, and doesn't really mean anything at all.

So, all in all, Jay is a great card for any type of Skeelz deck. Four Stars can be expensive for Elo or Type 1, but he is completely worth it. I feel that when some better two-three star Skeelz cards come out, people will appreciate Jay a little more, as he will be easier to fit into a good deck. I would say he is easily a 9/10.

This is crazy the sellers keep uping the price and we keep buying does anyone realize that if no one buys it for a week or two the prices will start to go back down to were it should be around 9k-10k jay isn't worth this much the only one i think is worth this may be Caelus but not Jay.
Like this if you agree with me and will not buy Jay until the price goes down

what is with all the hate in Jays Comment section. He is 4 stars and can do 9 damage with rage one of the few cards that can do that, the only one that I can think of that does that outside of Feng Pi Clang or La Junta. His power is 6 and there is easy to over come If you think about it. Example when you activate his Revenge save your pills so you can use them.
Check out this Preset and try it out you will find many ways to win even if you don't like Jay.

He is vulnerable to attack, power, and damage manipulation and an all-stop nearly destroys him. With that said, he is a game changer. In a tournament, you're moving along in the rankings, you're having a swell time and then you come face to face with this monster. You have to decide if you want to try winning the first round and you know if you win your opponent might toss out Jay next round and if they do, will you have enough pillz to beat him.

If you win a round, your opponent picks next, and your opponent picks Jay, you have to wonder if it's a bluff or if they're going for the whooping 9 damage. If you win a round and you are unfortunate enough to pick next, you have to try figuring out if that's the round Jay's coming out to play. It hurts just as bad, if not more, to over-pill against a Jay bluff as it does to lose against him in a round where his revenge is active.

Jay is no one trick pony, folks. He is intimidation incarnate for this game.

Clint City, night.
