Adler - 8/6 with Stop: Damage +3 (ability) and +2 Life (bonus)

- A solid 8 power joins Jungo's already impressive list.
- With 6 damage (8 with fury) and +2 Life, life gaps are already going to be widened.
- With Stop, He becomes a massive 9 damage (11 with fury) that OHKOs with Timber. Even with Timber, not many solid 8 powered cards can do that. In addition, it lets him cause scary life differences and 2HKOs with literately anything in Jungo.
- He is very playable even without his Stop
- Another 5* common. Like.

- He is 5*. Kinda hard to budget.

Overall: 8/10. Adler is a very good card, people. He has a very solid power of 8, hi damage is excellent and with +2 Life, can stand damage reduction a bit better. he also wards away SoA, and isn't dependent on his Stop at all. His only flaw is that Askai and Ongh have abilities without Stop. Adler is a very nice good and should be underestimated.

Adler was inspired by the Lufwaffe, the german airforce
Now i know most americans associate german with Nazi which is entirely untrue
Adler is german for eagle
His hat was commonly worn in the german air force during WW1
His jacket was the uniform of the official German army in WW1
Plus he is saluting which has a military context.
BTW the Nazi party only existed for about 10 years. It was the Wermacht that fought in world war 1 for their king.

Review of Adler:

Short Summary:

-Solid all-around stats so SoA just adds onto what is already good. Icing on the cake baby.
-The epitome of the Jungo's legendary game changing life gap. With fury he wins.
-Has a bunch of Jungo buddies who share Stop: Abilities.
-Half deck...check

Adler - The Air Traffic Commander

To begin with, I feel that Adler is a great card. If you took away his ability (which is technically impossible) and his bonus his stats would still give opponents hesitation. I never play him anymore though. I use too! Oh boy did I use too. But when stacked up next to Ongh and now Zornado, Adler just loses his luster. Now, I also understand that this is probably more of a playing style problem more than anything else. Let's look into some good situations to use Adler.

The most obvious is if you are running into a lot of SoA. Some weeks it just seems like every other match is Roots or GHEIST. These are great weeks to pull out your Jungo stop team. Jungo has a fierce lineup in the form of Kreen Cr, Elea, Ashiko, Greow, Scotty, and Cheep can tag along if he really wants. I have created a deck with this format just to mess around with people who try to mess around with my abilities. They don't like it... In fact, since most cards in GHEIST and Roots have relatively low average damage, one can save Adler for last against an all SoA team. If you play a furious Adler against SoA in the last round in Elo then you win most of the time with the bonus.

HOWEVER, the scenario described above is very situational. In the common everyday matches in UR, we need a better reason to use Adler. So if the eagle is your favorite animal or if you also share dreams of flying high, fear not! It is very popular to include SoA in all decks nowadays. It is very likely that they opponent will have at least one somewhere in their hand. If they attack with it then make them pay, but they probably won't. So attack with Adler and place a decent amount of pillz on him. Most cards will need to overpill to beat him and if they don't, then they have a nice little life gap they have to worry about. The beautiful thing about stop is that them blasted SoAers can't play their precious card at whimsy. They have to be careful or Adler will drop a bomb on them!

I'm reading through the comments and I think its funny.. A card's price isn't determined on how *Good* It is, it is determined on how many copies it has, Because when a whole lot of people put this card on sale, the price drops down quickly, it happens to many cards. For example, some collector cards are 5-4 With nothing, But there price could be over 100,000 clintz.
Rate Green so people can see

in the first level he is playing with a toy airplane...nice
in second level he is acting like he is flying in a box
but in third level...he crashed... HOW DA HELLL DID HE CRASH IN A BOX????

Friday 06/08/2010, 20:48

his wings mutated into arms. so now he is left on the ground dreaming of flying by becoming a pilot.
if you try to stop his ambition, he will be furious with you. in fact, he'll be so furious he'll do 1 more dmg than other furious cards.

somehow, Adler doesn't consider being mutated as a blessing like most Jungos. unless it happens that he was also mutated down "there." then we can consider all things equal.

rate green so other ppl know his sad story. PETA needs to know.

The difference in the price is:
A) He is a common card, Scotty is Rare
B) Scotty is 4*, Adler 5*

2 MAJOR factors that affect the price, think before you type a comment :sneer:
