"Family, honor, money and shady plans". The specter of the Montana motto creeps over the city. Having always had a firm footing in the world of crime, the Montana Godfathers have developed a pronounced taste for power. So now, under the iron rule of the formidable Don, their depraved and violent henchmen are all set to spread fear and terror in both the streets and corridors of power.

this card beats Don for the Montana ELO 5 star spot. why??
->although she has shaky damage, Avola has better overall stats than Don, meaning she has a better chance of inflicting her awesome damage. sure, Don has that -4 atk, min 2 ability which helps for 1 pill battles, but, in the long run, -4 atk is useless, unless backed up by solid power. just look at zatman!
->walls can really trouble Don (because of his high stars), and they are not that rare in elo. with Avola, although her damage is significantly reduced, she can still take on the likes of Glorg, Leviatonn, and even Kristin, with proper pilling.
->against annoying drs like Uranus, TrinmkkT, and Pegh, Avola is simply better bec. she will still have more damage than Don (i.e. against Uranus, Avola can still give 4 damage, while Don is down to 3). i guess the only time Don is (a bit) better than Avola is against drs with soa like yayoi and Bristone.

although Avola beats Don for the ELO spot, she still has fabio's power reduction and enzo's sheer power and poison going against her. nevertheless, Avola is a very worthy card. get her when her price finally stabilizes!

RATING: 8.5/10

This is my first actual card review. rate green!!

Avola - 7/5 with Support: +1 damage (ability) and -12 opp attack, min 8.

- A solid power of 7. When added with the Montana bonus, that can become quite a strong force.
- Potential 9 damage (11 with fury), which is massive. With fury, Avolva can even kill with Spiaghi or a non-courageous Filomena.
- Even without her ability, her damage is a stable 5.

- SoA does make her weaker in damage, but she is still playable. But a card like Arno just hurts.
- She is a whooping 5*, which doesn;t allow you much room for a lot of 4-5*.

Overall: 8/10. Avola is a very good card, but hard to determine if more useful than the solid, respectable Don. I highly recommend her with you are willing to take the risk though smiley

"Diamonds are a woman's best friend; safes are but a means of safeguarding them for you."

Lv2: 5/1
Lv3: 6/2
Lv4: 7/4
Lv5: 7/5 --- Ability unlocked: Support: Damage +1

-Decent power of 7
-Crazy 9 damage makes for excellent damage potential

-Weakness to SOA is apparent

This little Lady packs a heck of a mean punch. Fitting in with the Montana theme, Avola really only cares about the offense; the thing is, not only does she swing hard, she swings well and true at the same time. With a decent power of 7 AND the Montana bonus to back her up, it's difficult to blast apart the solid wall that Avola forms. Throw in the fact that she's got a whopping NINE (Count 'em, people!) damage with her ability activated with full Support, and you've got a character that's to be feared. With the introduction of Avola, a whole new host of 2HKO opportunities for the Montana; she can even 2HKO with a Furied Spiaghi!

Avola is a card that most, if not all mono-Montana decks should have; her ability and bonus combined easily make her one of the best, if not the outright best 5* in the current Montana repertoire. (Other than Vickie Cr, of course, but how many people can afford her?) Just keep her away from half-decks; without that full Support ability, Avola isn't quite as scary as other cards in the clan such as Fabio.

Avola's strengths are many and varied - resilience to SOB, thanks to her high power; extreme damage makes her well worth pilling, which means extra attack for you; the Montana bonus makes it hard to win against her, be it low-pillz, mid-pillz or high-pillz fights. Plain DRs affect her little, because it'll take a LOT of DR to reduce 9 damage to acceptable levels; power reduction stings a little, but if they don't come packing power reduction AND SOB, then you haven't got much to fear. SOA does reduce Avola's effectiveness, though. 9 damage down to 5 damage is quite the drastic drop, and does bring down that intimidation factor that Avola's got going for her by quite a bit.

Still, Avola is an extremely welcome addition to the Montana family. A very volatile card, Avola can be used in nearly every situation. Bluff, pill-for-pill, wall... You name it. And that Hefty 9 damage? Definitely an extreme plus. Avola is one girl you don't want to cross.

~Eloxia Reviews~
Avola 5 * 7/5 ability Support + 1 damage

♥-Stats 7/5 are solid and mesh well with her high attack manip bonus.
♥-Her ability lets her 2hko with almost everyone in her clan.
♥-Even without her ability she's a 7/5 -12 opp attk min 0.

♥-SOA brings her to a 7/5 which is suckish for a 5 *
♥-Can only be in mono decks
♥-Last artwork should have C's for clintz and not $'s.

Overall I give Avola a 9/10 She's a staple for any mono montanna and is an amazing card.

I will not post what everyone else has mentioned already with stats and pros and cons

People emphasize the VAST difference between Avola and Don, saying her 1 power really counts. To put in perspective, Don's ability of (-4 atk) means that don's power and avola's power are equivalent up to and until using 3 pills

4 pills x 7 = 28 atk

4 pills x 6 = 24 ( with don's -4 atk ability, essentially making it) = 28 atk

But from thereon after, Avola > Don in terms of attack.

Note: SOA makes 5* Avola into a mere 7/5 (equivalent to Donnie affected by SOA), whereas Don is less affected, and maintains his stats at 6/8. So Don has more stable stats, at the cost of 1 less power and damage than Avola when unaffected by SOA. And given that montanna has other bigger hitters like Donnie and Edd that can be used with Don or Avola, that one damage is not too significant.

So unless you plan on playing most of your pills on Avola as a leading character (unlikely since it is preferable to play it in response to your opponent's cards to avoid SOA and damage reducers), then the aforementioned tactics of pouring pills onto her in the early game for two hit k.o's don't exactly apply.

Don and Avola are very similar, especially in low pill conditions, and Avola's stats are more unstable than Don's.
Don is 1.2k~ and Avola is currently 7k~

Avola CANNOT OHKO, even with Timber. Her ability is Support: Damage +1
Im pretty sure Timber isn't a Montana.

Rate green so all the noobs can see smiley

I thought someone already mentioned this but there is a art flaw.
In her last level she has bags of money in her art. You see a dollar sign on them, however the currency in clint city is clintz (If you need a reference to prove this check out Wayne Stark)

Saturday 13/10/2012, 17:15

This card is the EXACT opposite of Marco cr
She has 7 power 9 damage, He has 9 power 7 damage
She reduces attack by 12, He increases attack by 12
She kills people, He saves them
She is a girl, He is a boy

ahhhhhh she's banned from elo. rate green if you want this to be undone

Lets review Avola!
Avola: 5*, 7/5, support +1 damage
7 power is decent
9 damage is GODLY
The Montana bonus is one of the best in the game!
2HKOing possibilities
Tino, anyone?
Must be run in mono, in a half deck she is likely to only be 7/7
SOA really hurts her, making her a 7/5
Competition? well, in my opinion, Don, and maybe Fabio can be used over her
That dollar sign...

Overall, I would give Avola an 8.5/10

When I first started playing UR many many years ago, Avola was quite cheap. Like, 1.4 clintz, cheap.
She wasn't used often, and was called shaky.
Not long after that, people started realizing how good she was, throwing her in all their decks, and next thing I know, she's OP.
And I'm just happy to have my level 1 Avola, cause I think she's cute there -w-
The moral to this story?

Thursday 21/05/2015, 00:35

I would assume that if she chose the former she would end up in Pussycats?

Tuesday 17/05/2011, 05:07

Guys, Did you noticed the on her last level they used a dollar sign Bill instead of the Clintz Sign?!!!!
