Ability of Harleen:

- 2 Opp. Life Min 1

If Harleen wins the fight, the number of Life points of the player controlling the opposing character will be reduced by 2, or up to a minimum of 1. If the number of Life points of the player controlling the opposing character is lower than or equal to 1, the ability will have no effect.

Poison 2, Min 3

If Freaks wins the round, at the end of each of the following turns the opponent will lose 2 Life point(s) if he/she has more than 3 Life point(s). If the opponent has 3 or less Life point(s), the poison effect is not triggered.

Harleen - 7/2 with -2 opp life, min 1 (ability) and Poison, min 3 (bonus)

- A solid 7 power, always nice.
- A solid power is great if you have the ability to spew out a nasty poison.
- In addition, Harleen can get your opponent to that min of 3 fast, thanks ot her ability.
- Also lets you jump past the min of 3 when at 5, making go down to 1.
- Thanks to that, damage reduction = basically useless.
- She is only a 2*
- Those who say this is Harley Quinn don't remember how loud she is in the shows smiley (not that that was a bad thing or anything)

- SoB hurts more than SoA. Btu she can make do without both.
- Later in the game, she is less effective.

Overall: 7.5/10. Harleen is a great card. Solid power, nice reduction of life ability. Not afraid of most enemies. The problem is, Hula's ability to poison regardless of basically any opponent and Esmeralda's attack manipulation may pull through. It's up to player preference though.

Her name is a reference to harlequin or arlequino in Italian. Arliquino is a character in the comedia del arte tradition, who is agile, a bit of a trickster, and always of the working class. Many of the original masks were black to indicate working in the coal mines, one of the dirtiest jobs that only the lowest class of people would submit to. He is often the lackey of pantalone. Originally, he was quite talkative, but after the French theatrical guild restricted speaking to just a few theaters, the circuses were forced to have solely pantomimed acts. In this setting the higher class role was often taken by the ringmaster. The antics of the harlequin were often mocking the authority figure behind his back, which explains Harleen's bio.

Harleen (1*) - Power: 5. Damage: 1. Ability: None. Bonus: Poison 2, min 3.
Harleen (2*) - Power: 7. Damage: 2. Ability: - 2 life opp. min 1. Bonus: Poison 2, min 3.

- Harleen is only 2 stars.
- Harleen has a nice steady 7 power.
- Her ability makes DR less effective against her, but since she has low damage anyway DR only matters if you fury.
- Her clan bonus helps rack up more potential damage than any other 2 star out there.
- With poison/fury she can do a possible 12 damage to the opponent (9 if the min stops the poison).
- Good versatility.
- SOA or SOB doesn't really phase her. Against SOA she still has her poison and against SOB she's still basically a 7/4 for 2 stars that's strong against DR.

- Weak against attack and power manipulators.
- Her ability is min. 1 which means she's not a very efficient way to KO.

Overall: 9/10. She's one of the best two stars out there. Her damage potential is great, a nice 7 power, great card to throw against your opponents DR, and often underestimated. Her weakness to attack and power manipulation can describe most cards, so that's not really enough to condemn the card. The only problem I really see is the fact that she's not a good means to KO. This limits her use a bit. Good card to play on all rounds but #4 (assuming you've already poisoned your opponent and they're at the min. 3). She's often underestimated, so it's not hard to land a 1st turn hit. Her damage potential is what gives her the lead over many other two stars. With the release of Thormund, however, she's got a big contender for the best two star position. However, unlike Thormund, this card is so underestimated that her price is under 300 Clintz. For how good this card is, I believe the price belittles her true value.

~Eloxia Reviews~
Harleen 7/2 2* Ability : -2 Opp life min 1.
Yeah her bio is.. weird

♥-In Standard she's become a staple.
♥-Great stats for a 2 star.
♥-Great ability, able to cut through DR's like Uranus and Pussycats, good synergy with her posion bonus.

♥-SOA makes her a 7/2 which isn't that bad.
♥-All-stop makes her pretty useless, but really who's goign to use an all stop on her?

Overall I give her a 9/10. She is a really good 2 star, a staple in my opinion.

I love Harleen the Killing Machine. I like to whack the opp in rnd 2, after poisoning in rnd 1. I swear I can hear their screams when 6 life Vanish. smileysmiley

With the recent changes to 14 life in ELO, Harleen is even more effective. If you land her in rnd 1, she will deliver 10 points of damage. That is one nasty 2 star!
