c Dwan

Released on Friday 15/01/10

Working for the Skeelz School carries with it a certain number of risks, like for example seeing your DNA combined with the Yeti of the Northern Mountains after an unfortunate accident during a zoology class. Fortunately, Dwan knows she can count on the support of all the Skeelz...

How can you all say such bad things about a High powered Damage Reducer?
I mean, some of the greatest and most feared cards are Damage Reducers. Lets look at DJ Korr Cr 8/8 with damage reduction. Tanaereva is a 10/7 with his bonus. The only thing Dwan lacks is a bonus because she has the protection of her Reduction. Which makes you think she's only for defense. But if your opponent throws a Rolph or XU52 or Lou and you think they might be bluffing, put like 3 pillz and see what happens. if she does lose you take 4 less to a min of 1. Thats one of the greatest reductions and you cant just SOA it. Only cards able to get around her reduction are Shakra, Nahi Cr, Spycee, Kristen, Morhla, Leviatonn, Dieter and Glorg. Thats 8 cards that are safe from her and 2 only have 2 damage, 1 is never used, 4 have less power, 1 is courage based and the other confidence based.
If Dwan had somekind of added ability to her like DJ Korr Cr and Tanaereva, she would be one of the most feared cards in my opinion. You would either lose half your health or pill a ton to deal close to 1 damage.

Rate green if you think Dwan is a good card.

Caelus's Staff Listings

Doctor/Nurse/Surgeon/Medical Professional/Head of the Redundancy Department

For years, Dwan did what she was asked at Skeelz. She fixed up any student or teacher that was injured. And the range of injuries here at Skeelz is wider than Deebler's mean streak. Somtimes we have to remove poison from the members of the Death Studies students, and sometimes we have to regrow Bones completely (Not an unheard of process, but more dreadful than the JK Lady makes it out to be). Most of the time however, she seems to spend fixing up Corvus and his various injuries. It seems that when ever someone is hurt at Skeels, it's a 50% chance it's Corvus.

Well, after time I began to ask Dwan to start following Corvus unless needed somewhere else. I couldn't risk one of our top students being reduced to purple mush. Unfortuneatly, this led to her unfrotuneate mutation. While all the rest of the class knew to scram when Professor Aigwon tripped and a vial Yeti Extract flew into the air... Dwan was not blessed with that knowledge. From that day, she seems to be getting hairier and hairier. While not attractive, we all know it is the Dwan who has kept us healthy for years, so we are doing are best to make her feel better about her mutation.

Maybe we will be able to fix it one day. I truely hope so. I don't want her to lose her surgical prescision... I would like to keep my face when going into my yearly check-up.

Dwan - 7/6 with -4 opp damage, min 1 (ability) and Protection: Ability (bonus)

- A solid 7 power Not horrible.
- Has the ability to reduce your opponent by a great amount (4).
- She has a nice solid damage of 6 (8 with fury), allowing you to kill with Tomas or a furious Chiara.
- High damage, DR, good bluff
- She is really pretty lvl1 ^__^

- She is a whooping 5*.
- Since she is 5*, her damage reduction is kinda shaky. Your 5* usually does the damage while your 2-3* do most of the reduction.

Overall: 7/10. Not a bad card, per say, but I'm more amiable toward Tomas, Caelus, and even Aylen. High damage, high power, and a nifty DR ability are nice though

Dwan = 7/6 at last lvl with Ability of -4 opp dmg min 1 and Bonus of Protection:Ability

>7 power is high
>6 dmg is good and can become 2 hit K.O
>>could be 8 with fury so u can 2 hit with cards like Sandro and chiara
>-4 dmg in 1 min!
>SOA fails thanks to the clans lovely bonus:thumbsup:
>>SOA and SOB doesnt do much since this card is still a strong offensive one

>5 stars takes some space in elo

This card is amazing in my opinion, I mean it has an amazing offensive part of it, and to add, it has a great defensive part of it! Very few cards in UR have that. Plus, SOA and SOB still leaves her deadly! Even the artwork is impressive and for a card thats this amazing, its cheap for its price! So worth having if your a Skeelz person =]:*:

Woah... Dwan (C) the 7/6 Skeelz DR

-Solid stats (7/6)
-Great damage reduction (- 4 opp damage min 1)
-She doesn't get killed by SoA because of her bonus.

Skeelz alredy have a few nice 5 stars (Tomas (R) and caeulus).

Overall 8.5/10.

I think people are being a bit too hard on Dwan (C). Why are cards like GraksmxxT (R) and Charlie (U) praised so highly, and then when a similar Skeelz card comes along she is shunned as terrible and useless.

In my opinion, Dwan (C) is clearly better than Tomas (R) (Tomas (R) only has 1 more power and SoB... I would definetly trade that for amazing an amazing DR ability)
She's obviously worse than Caelus (R) though, but when was the last time Caelus (R) wasn't elo-banned

Lastly, she will be 1k or less in the next few days. (a common card in new blood? Really UR??? At least make her rare like she deserves )

Rate green if you understand why she is better than Tomas (R) and the new 5* Skeelz ELO card.

~Eloxia Reviews~
Dwan 7/6 5* ability -4 oop damage min 1

↕-7/6 is very solid.
↕-If she loses she knocks off 4 damage.
↕-You don't have to worry about her losing her DR because of her bonus

◄-For her ability to work you have to lose.
◄-5 star's is spacey for a elo deck.

Overall I give her a 8.5/10 She's a really good card but has alot of competition in the 5 star spot, she's an amazing card and an amazing bluffer.

I'min agreement with Its-Kris and marioman133.
Why do people worship GraksmxxT and Charlie, who are esentially the same thing(and if you argue that grax has 1 more reduction you can kiss my ass) as Dwan here, and that a lot of very feared cards are reducers. However, whereas the reduction of Tanereva and DJ Korr Cr can be repelled by SOA, making it useless against Roots or GHEIST(if you argue they're pure strengh, I know. I'm only making an effin point here), Dwan is capably of reducing damn near every card, all but what, 8 are safe?Even then, Dwan's 6 damage sets up 2-shots from Cley, Tomas, Furious Sandro, Etc. The ONLY(!) reason Dwan is this underrated is the lack of UR's ruling forces, Power/Attack manipulation. Who. Cares. If you cant nail you're damage, all the attack or power in the world won't save you, Especially if whoever play's Dwan has Jay and Timber waiting in the wings.

If you agree with me that Dwan is underrated and underpriced, rate reen:eek:

Has anybody else noticed that all the staff (Deebler, Redra and Dwan) are damage reducers ?
