As a son and grandson of miners, Thormund grew up in the deepest caverns of the Mountains of the North. So when General Cr was on the lookout for a man to lead an underground attack against the GHEIST, Thormund seized the opportunity and ever since he’s been clan expert on all underground dealings.

These light-hearted, loudmouthed fighters are as nimble in their actions as they are in their wisecracks. As supporters of a strong regime, these soldiers have decided to bring society into line, starting by shaving the heads of the wimpy youth. In the long term, they’d be more than happy to take over the running of the government from those “bunch of morons”.

Thormund - 7/1 with Support: +1 Power (ability) and Bonus: +2 Damage (bonus)

- A decent 7 power that only increases thanks to his ability. Without any help from anyone, he already has 8. In a normal ha;lf-situation, he has a very respectable 9, and in mono, amazing 11.
- 3 damage (5 with fury) lets him 2HKO with cards like No Nam or furious Gatline
- Amazingly, he is only 2*! Not only dos that open up room for others, but it really helps in non-random (lower stars wins)
- Looks like a new artist? smiley

- He isn;t the most solid thing in the world. 7 power isn;t bad when hit by SoA, but a blast of SoB is painful. 1 damage isn;t going to scare much.

Overall: 9/10. Lovin this card. La Junta already had solid 2* like Wardog and Dean. Thormund makes either monoclan even better, and is playable in a half. Great little card

Thormund = 7/1 at last lvl with Ability of Support Power +1 and Bonus of Damage +2

>7 power is nice to have
>>his ability can give him the potential of 11 powersmiley
>3 dmg with bonus so can 2 hit K.O with No Nam
>5 dmg with bonus and fury so can 2 hit K.O with cards like Gateline, Bryan, Emeth, Trish etc.
>11 power for 2 stars? Wow thats a new one smiley

>base 1 dmg smiley
>SOA can kinda hurt but 7 is still good

potential of 11/5 for a 2 star? Thats a new one, and a good one. However SOA and SOB can make this card go down to best of 7/3 [with fury] but its a 2 star, so I guess thats still ok. However, I would prefer wardog, because he already has a solid 8 power and 1 extra dmg, but this card still gets a better rating since I guess people would prefer a potential of 11 power over 8.

Named after the West Virginian town of Thurmond, which was a prosperous coal mining town when coal mining was at its peak in America.

Thormund a very great card to have in your la junta deck!!!!
finally for all the times they created a two star cards that gives a very scary power.....
having the potential of being a 11 powered card.... with 3 damage...and 5 with fury....
the only thing that you can have a problem using this card is if your opp. have a card sob and soa....
or sob. but still its hard to counter this card 11 power....... for a 2 star la junta this is the best..... even better than wardog...
in terms of power.... this card ROCKS......

Okay, why this card nearly half the price of War Dog?! Even in a half deck, this card pretty much equals War Dog. Thormund only gives up 1 damage to War Dog, but in return he outpowers him by a ton! Even all alone, he's an 8 power (same as War Dog) so you can use him in a half deck. But if you get other La Juntas in your hand, he can be a 9, 10 or a whopping 11! I'd that's well worth an extra 1 damage. And lastly, Thormund is a rare and War Dog is a COMMON! So again I ask, how does Thormund cost less than War Dog?!! smiley

i like his artwork

Thormund 7/1 support + 1 power
although he can't do much damage this is a card that does well in mono and is worth furying he is also an 11 powered wall which almost no cards can break through good for stopping Cealuses and coopers but i wouldn't use him over wardog or dean but in my junta deck thisguy is worth making a deck with 3 junta 2 stars.
Final rating 8.5/10 7.5/10 in half decks

To me a staple 2 star card if you play a mono La Junta Deck, and can still hold his own in a half deck
11/3 with ability and bonus, 7/3 without ability still a great amount of power.
Only problem is if opponent has SoB his damage becomes pretty weak.
However, even so he makes an excellent wall.
overall 8.5/10

This card is an 11/3 unopposed. I believe that it has the highest or at least the third highest power for any card on your opponent's turn with 11. Sweet dreams Hikiyousan.

This man is a hardcore piece of work.
Usually a 11/3 in a mono Junta. That sounds like a Ulu right off the bat. Very nice. He is the Wall.
Breakdown time:
SoA: 7/3 not bad for a 2*... Not bad at all.
SoB: 11/1. You have one of the best walls in the game. Gratz.
Compared to his counterpart Wardog, I'm split. Wardog is just an all around solid card, 8/4 against SoA, where as Thormund would be a 7/3 but when there ain't any SOA, Thormund shines. But they're both 2* so why not take both?
This card is amazing imo, with 2 pills you're already up to 33 attack. Insane right?
Rating: 9/10. Seriously this card is one of the best walls in the game and the fact that it's a 2* just makes it that much better. This card is a must have filler (if you could call it that) for mono Junta, and even playable in a halfdeck. This card, even without damage, can work to block a card. It's a very strategic card and then with the other Junta abilities (like Nagi) it really makes your opponent think if they really want to waste their SOA so its basically 3 free damage. Nice.

Clint City, night.
