Veronica - 7/5 with -2 opp pills, min 1 (ability) and -2 opp damage, min 1 (bonus)

- A decent 7 power, which is great
- A very playable 5 damage (7 with fury). Great for a Pussycat
- The fun thing going for Veronica is that she has her pill manipulation.,
- Normally that is fine and dandy, but her pill manipulation causes great mind games. Why? Because if your opponent overpills, they lose a lot of pills AND their damage is decreased by 2. Fun fun.
- 2 pills less isn;t too bad with such a low min of 1.
- I Don;t get the chains. Isn't she with the Pussycats now?

- 4* is quite a number.
- Ability is useless on the last turn.
- I hate to be that guy, but I am. Pill manipulation is greatly aided by SoB or attack manipulation. Veronica has neither. Veronica is gonna have problems.

Overall: 8/10. Do I like Veronica? For sure. Decent stats, nice ability. She's no Yayoi, but that's to be expected. great in your Pussycat deck, half-deck or not.

All I can say is, "It's about time," and "Thank you," to the developers.

The Pussycats have been behind the curve since the advent of the new card abilities and the clan is finally catching up. With Veronica, not only are we exploring the "Women's Prison" bag O fun, but we get Pillz Manipulation. And an adaptable version of the ability to boot.

With the low minimum, Veronica can be used either early or late in the fight and still leave a Mark on your enemy's stores. And as a late game bluff the opponent will blow all his stash thinking, "Well, I'll just lose it anyway," which buys into the strategies you need to use as a Pussycats player since, unlike every other clan, they are designed around losing battles to win the war. So, like every other Pussycat card, there isn't a need for attack modification. If you need that, play a newbie deck with La Junta.

Seriously, am I the only person who has noticed the higher natural average Damage stat on their cards to offset their completely defensive Clan bonus?

She is also quite advanced for her Star count and Rarity. I could see her as being a Silver card and not changing a single stat. And since the Pussycats are already top heavy with five stars it is good to see a card of a lower count being good enough for regular use. Additionally, as a common Copper, new players will be able to afford her.

Between versatility, ability, usability, and availability, Veronica is a welcome addition to the ranks.

Veronica should be worth much more than she is:
- She has a more than adequate 7 power
- Win or lose she is going to mess with your opponents hand
- When hit with either SoA or SoB she still can be used to turn the tide
- When hit with SoA AND SoB she still packs a powerful 5 damage which is more than enough in a Pussycats deck

Of course she doesn't have any attack modifiers which is a disadvantage in any card you hope to play offensively or as a bluff, but her ability to mess with your opponents head and be played effectively as both offensive and defensive more than makes up for her shortcomings. I also find that if you play her first up people generally throw an SoA against her, assuming it will make the problem go away, completely forgetting her 5 damage.

Personally I breath a sigh of relief any time I get dealt this card, I highly recommend any player who is considering a Pussycats deck to buy this card.

First review, be nice smiley

She's a really good card.
If you lose with her that's good, because of the bonus (-2 opp. damage, min 1).
If you win with her that's good too, because of the ability (-2 opp pillz. min 1).
A perfect card smiley

Personally, she looks the best at level one. She just gets... meh, the more she levels up.

Why is Veronica so cheap and underplayed?
She's only a 4 star. Go crazy with your Wandas!
She has the magical 5 damage (2HKO with Charlie, 2HKO with furious Ditha, 2HKO 2 turns after Muze, 2HKO with furious Ciara)
Moreover, she has Hawkins-Grade Pillz manipulation (-2 opp pillz min. 1), which means that if you score in a hit with her it makes it that much easier to hit with Fury.
She has a pretty decent 7 power (Yayoi, Jeyn, Gwen, Emma, Muze, Charlie, Betty) and when used with a proper deck, can be quite lethal.
Veronica (who is common, by the way, which makes her a lot easier to buy) is very, very versatile.
What do you think when Hawkins is played and it's your turn to play second? You start calculating the odds of if it's a bluff or not, and then start thinking how much pillz you should spend.
Now here's the catch: With Veronica, you have to ration your pillz a lot more. Firstly, if you play 6 pillz on her, and your 8 powered opponent plays 5, you win and have both a health advantage and a pillz advantage. Many players don't want you to do that, so they play 3 pillz, just in case you overpill with Lady V.
Now here's the trick: Lady V might just have 3 pillz on too.
With Veronica, you have to anticipate your opponent.
When I was playing Skeelz, I found out that sometimes I had intuition to what my opponent was going to do. That's why I switched to All Stars and Pussycats (Hmm... I'll make half decks!). You need the correct type of intuition and strategy to manage to win rounds with Pussycats, because their bonus is the only bonus IN THE WHOLE GAME where you actually throw cards out and gain life out of it. What Vortex are for pillz, Pussycats are for life. Give me life anyday, you don't get KO'ed when you run out of pillz.
What I'm getting at: Veronica is amazing. Pussycats are amazing.
Go buy them!

i like her art most at lvl2...i don't's kinda devilish/cute and sexysmiley

I think she could still be wearing chains to show defiance. Keep in mind that they are in fact broken chains. She could still be wearing them to shout out to the world, "Put me in chains again, and I will break them again!"
