r Baldovino

Released on Friday 21/05/10

As a master of illusion and magic, Baldovino’s career has been a series of ups and downs. However, since he gave up trying to bend the minds of his audience into handing him over half their income, he’s had a lot less trouble with the forces of law and order.

First development of the 4 of this character’s different developments:

Ability of Baldovino:

-2 Opp Pillz. Min 3

If Baldovino wins the fight, the number of Pillz of the player controlling the opposing character will be reduced by 2 Pillz, or up to a minimum of 3. If the number of Pillz of the player controlling the opposing character is lower than or equal to 3, then the ability will have no effect.

Poison 2, Min 3

If Freaks wins the round, at the end of each of the following turns the opponent will lose 2 Life point(s) if he/she has more than 3 Life point(s). If the opponent has 3 or less Life point(s), the poison effect is not triggered.

Baldovino - 8/6 with -2 opp pills, min 3 (ability) and Poison 2, min 3 (bonus)

- A very solid power of 8. A really nice trend with the 5* Freaks (solid power, I mean.)
- Decent 6 damage (8 with fury) that really opens up the 2HKO options,
- Of course, like all Freaks, Baldovino has the dreaded poison, which nobody wants. Eventually getting your opponent to 3, and easily kill-able, is a nice feature too.
- To factor in more things that nobody wants, Baldovino has pill manipulation has well. A decent -2 pills with a fairly low minimum of 3.
- Because of all of these nasty elements that noone wants at the first turn, Baldovino is one of the greatest bluffs in the game.

- He is 5*
- He can effectively kill in the later games, but his ability and bonus do little at that step.

Overall: 10/10. You know, I was debating this in my head for a while. but at the end, I don't see why Baldovino doesn't deserve a 10/10. He has solid power., He has solid damage. He has a great ability and he doesn't need his bonus to operate. Baldovino is probably the best 5* out there

I wonder if for his final trick he pulls Askai out of his hat.

Baldovino - "Insidious Freak"

Ability: removes two of your Opp's pillz on win if their pillz reserves are above 3.

+ 8 Power, yes please!
+ 6 Damge, YES please! (8 w/ fury!)
+ His high damage gives the clan so much potential to KO. 2hitfurykos, 3rd round poison aided KOs, this guy's damage opens up so many possibilities!
+ If he hits unopposed he drains BOTH your life AND your pillz AND hits for a massive 6 dmg.
+ An amazing bluff card, there's just so much to scare your Opp with.

- SoB, SoA? Even then he's a massive 8/6 and one of his powers are getting through.
- All stops? Only Shakra can hold her own against his power, Leviatonn and Glorg will be pulverised.
- 5*? I think he's pretty much earned every single one of those...
- Attack and power manipulators will give him a run for his money.

-------8 power
-----6-- Damage
-------8 Ability
-------8 Ability/Bonus synergy

Overall rating: 10/10

Honestly, almost every single con I can think of is balanced by something perfectly. SoA? He has 8 power, 6dmg AND poison. SoB? 8 power, 6dmg, AND -2 pillz. etc..

Not only do his base stats make him massively formidable, you can overpill him a little if you think your Opp will try to score a heavy pillz victory and even if you go too far you're going to drop their pill reserves by two. A /very/ nice comfort blanket. (if you overpill and win, you could consider his -pillz as a +16 attack, just be careful not to get /too/ confident).

As mentioned, this guy has so much potential. If he hits unopposed he drains life, pillz, AND hits for 6-8 damage. That's a ridiculous amount of fear for your Opp to deal with, the bluff potential here is pretty awesome.

Of course, attack and power manipulators will give Baldovino a run for his money, but as he can overpill in relative saftey with his 8 power and that lovely ability and its low min, you can work a counter in many situations.

This is a great card that should go a long way in helping Freaks establish themselves in the various game modes.

O.k. READ THIS WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE THEY ARE WATCHING US AS WE SPEAK! This is what they call a God Card! KEEP YOU'RE VOICE DOWN! It won't be long before they get wind of this leak and erase this secret message like all the other's I have posted! Now listen up I only have time to say this one time! SOA doesn't work because of 8 power, 6 damage and bonus 2 poison min 3! SOB doesn't work because of 8 power -2 opp pillz min 3 and 6 damage. Damage Reducer's HAHAHA a joke to this card -2 opp pillz min 3 and poison 2 min 3. Power Reducer's that is what that MASSIVE 8 power is for. NOW HURRY BEFORE THEY SEE US AND SEND AXE WIELDING SEA MONKEY'S AFTER US! rate green if you want more!

As a Freaks lover I cannot resist :)

Baldovino, 8/6 with -2, min 3 opp Pillz ability

I'm not even going to try to go into pros / cons thingy. This guy doesn't have cons as a card. Opposed by SOA or SOB he will be severely weaker but so will every good card that weren't supplied with SOA and/or SOB ability itself.
8/6 is 1 more dmg than Splata and 1 less damage than good old Cassandra. But Cassi comes with no ability at all while Baldman comes with superior pillz manipulation. 1st-2nd round perfect hitter

For people who play Freaks this is 10/10 as they should just grab a popcorn, enjoy yellow FREAK WARS titles (long time ago in a circus not so far, far away...) and prepare themselves for real something because the New Hope for their clan has just arrived :*:

And all other people (you, antichrists, you think that Freaks aren't playable), go and try them out now!

In any other clan his price would be at least 5,000. That's why I love the Freaks. Rate up if you agree

So far, this is the ONLY card I have had to battle against that doesn't have a glaring weakness; Great stats, Great ability, Great bonus. His utility is amazing as he has great attacking potential as well as good poisoning and pill manipulation. I've seen him used with every amount of pillz imaginable, which has made him a nuisance to battle, as it's very difficult to guess how many pillz he has.:weird: That uncertainty he creates makes his bio all the more relevant to his uses; He plays mind games just as well in the game as in his bio.

Lets look at his act shall we?

Level 2: In his left hand he holds a wand (Making him left handed correect?) his other and right hand is reaching to you perhaps his trick will effect for for better! or worse.....

Level 3: Ahhhh his outfit has changed and he is wearing a nice hat. It is calming, very calming... I feel like giving him all my money, wow his eye sizes are odd....

Level 4: This act is quite odd. It most belong in the night shows. In his left a wand in his right a hat with tentecales protroding. It seems as if an octupus would be coming out which would mean 4 more tentecales will continue to come out of that hat! Also he has changed his outfit to a green striped suit.

Level 5: Ahhh this seems to be the illuision to top all illuisions is it not? he seems to be creating smoke out of nothing. Interestingly enough the smoke is coming to you....

I give his act a 9/10 how about you?
