u Candice

Released on Friday 13/08/10

Having worked for years as a stripper in one of the Montana’s clubs, Candice felt her career was going nowhere and decided to give it all up to join the Pussycats. She’s now in charge of organizing mud wrestling matches, which is the ideal way to spot and recruit new fighters for the clan.

First development of the 3 of this character’s different developments:

Candice - 6/5 with +2 Pills (ability) and -2 opp damage, min 1 (bonus)

- An impressive 5 damage (7 with fury). This high damage works well with the Pussycat bonus.
- +2 pills is always a nice ability. Allowing an extra 2 pills lets Candice use quite an amount without worry.
- My opinion, this lets Candice become a great bluff. No one wants to take 5 damage. Pill manipulation usually makes people think you're going to use a lot of pills, so it can be quite a surprise when you bluff with Candice.
- and if Candice loses, that Pussycat ability comes into effect. Bam!

- Problem with Candice is that she has low power. Because of this, her pill manipulation may not be enough to beat a lot of opponents.
- Unlike most 6 powered pill manipulators, Candice has no attack manipulation, no power manipulation, no SoA, and no SoB. Thus, it really is an uphill battle for Candice.
- In addition, SoA hurts quite a bit to Candice.

Overall: 6.5/10. 6-6.5....ugh, I'll be nice. Actually, despite all the flak I give her, Candice isn't that bad of a card. high damage. Pill manipulation. I compared her to cards like Andsom and Katan (Piranas cards that are barely ever used, and they have SoB to help them out), but that's a little harsh since she is not a Piranas, but a Pussycat. That bonus really does help for the bluffing part. Still, I don't really see a need to use her over Noemi and Muze though. While she can do some nifty things the other two can't, they are more reliable against stronger enemies. A real shame

This beats out Meg by creating a higher life difference as well as the pill effect, loses to Noemi for the effect being useless in the final round, loses to Muze because, well, she's Muze, and the rest of them (Sakura, Noon Stevens, Svelthana, and Tania) aren't in the running for passable 3-stars, so really its just a debate, over Candice or Betty. Candice has less power but her added pill bonus allows for over-pilling, and Candice can create a greater life point difference without running in fear from SOA. It's certainly not an amazing addition to the Pussycats, but it IS an upgrade for any Pussycats player who is starved for some lower starred characters to offset the star-eaters like Charlie, Ditha, and Yayoi (17 stars right there--good luck fitting them all without breaking the bank every time one levels up!)

Get her, but wait a while for the price to go down, she's not worth blowing your budget.

7/10 for unpredictability. This game is based around knowing what certain cards are good at and what they aren't, for a 3 star the clan bonus fall back plan is useful and opponents will not want her to get through so pillage is guaranteed. Enjoy =)

Decent card but outclassed by others and overpriced right now. I see her prices drop after a while to around Noemi and Muze, so sell them high when you can.

Charlie's Log
Name: Candice
Occupation: Former stripper for the Montana/head of the mud wrestling for the clan.
When Candice joined, she had told me that she was a former stripper for the Montana clan, wow I'm surprised that Flesh Pimp didn't hired anyone to kill her. But she came up with an idea about getting fighters interested in our clan. She's the one who leads the clans training, for mud wrestling. I know that's a bit of a way to oppress us, but as long as the training takes place at the Pink Club, we're fine.

Why does every person phailloide draw look like they've been dipped in nuclear acid?
Other than the 'art' Candice is a jack of all trades and master of none. She's flexible, but not super good at any one thing.

Candice is way underrated. First of all, saying "This card is hurt by SOA" is the exact same as saying "This card has a very good ability." With GHEIST getting 7 characters banned and Roots losing all of their 8 power I think you can use someone like Candice and expect to at some point get pills from her winning. She is at least as threatening as Archibald, and she cheats you out of damage if you beat her. It is good to no pill bluff with her, yes. It is also good to spend 7 so you can drop their life almost in half and keep more than half your pills. Sometimes I mix it up and spend 3.
