Caelus's Student Review Log

Student Number 398

Drake Stark

Unbeknowest to most of the students at my academy, Drake is the son of Jarred Stark, the world renown inventor... but this also makes him the Grandson of Wayne Stark, the armored terror of the Uppers. As such, Drake has grown up with a mind for advance mechanics and physics. According to what I could scrounge up about his earlier life, he has always showed an affinity for adventure and and penchent for fire.

Before Jarred Stark paid his son's way into my Academy (I know... I know... it's wrong for me to do, But I'll get to my reasons in a bit), Drake had gotten in trouble at several other schools for pranks and small exploits involving matches, torches, bullies, or a combination of all of them. It seemed that instead of having adults handle his problems, he solved them on his own. While that seems to just be spunk to most. The way he preformed these acts of revenge was ingenius. Some of the descriptions of the contraptions set up were beyond even my comprehension.

So, when Jarred offered to pay that much to allow Drake into Skeelz, I jumped at the oppertunity to allow this young mind into the school. I was certain that Anton would have his hand full with this young man in the Space and Time Classes... but what Drake ended up specializing in at the school suprised me quite a bit.

In his first week, Drake was harrased by Manfred about 'not having any real powers', and 'only getting in because of his daddies money'. At first, I put it aside as Manfred being Manfred. But then it escalated into a school yard brawl later in the wee in the mess hall. Needless to say, with Manfred's abilities, Drake was knocked out pretty quick. Another student, Praxie, hauled him into Dwan's office to help him recover from the blow to the head he had just suffered.

Shortly after waking up, Drake quickly formed a bit of a friendship with Praxie, and asked for his assistance in his revenge. For weeks, I watched in secret as Drake created somthing in his dorm, with Praxie helping stand guard. Several times, Drake caught himself on fire, but Praxie stood by his friend to make sure he didn't get hurt too badly. But finally, just about two weeks ago, Drake finally finished his creation. He called them 'The Gauntlets of Immolation'.

These wrist guards have two small flamethrowers inserted in them, and can spray a gout of ignited gel up to 20 feet at startiling accuracy if his so wished. The fuel Tank in heavily armored, and can resist even bullet fire. With this contraption, Drake quickly moved up to one of the top competitors in Monday Night Combat Training. Aparrently, he is refusing to fight Manfred until he completely hones his skills... but I can tell you this; I don't want to see what happens to either one of them afterwards.

Headmaster of Skeelz Academy

(Ok, when I said I would redo the other reviews... I lied. I don't have time. I'll just keep the old ones. Maybe I'll get around to that project another day 8D)

Who wants to play: Praxie, Drake, Wilhem!

Praxie freezes Wilhem in his tracks, causing him to lose.
Wilhem extinguishes Drake's flames so he is just a normal guy.
Drake melts Praxie making a very gushy, watery mess.

Drake beats Praxie
Praxie beats Wilhem
Wilhem beats Drake

Rate green so that Caelus can keep these guys on opposite corners of the school!:thumbsup:

Drake the signature art of Quirkilicious

3* Skeelz academy
7 power 4 damage
protection: ability

if used correctly a 7/6 card at 3* which is great in elo (you should be able to fit him in any elo deck)
only walls (e.g. Glorg and Leviatonn) can stop his ability
even with Uranus opposing him he can still make a 3 life gap
very cheap so new players can own him quite easily
if you opposition runs out of pillz (this happens rarely) and you need to fury him that 7/8 for a 3*!
clearly the best art drawn by Quirkilicious

there are better 3* cards in the Skeelz clan
his ability is sorta predictable (bluff then Drake (or if you have a defeat card: defeat then Drake))
he's cheap and you can tell he's cheap when he's on the playing field
no attack manipulation to help him win
you can only really use this card as a bluff because other people will pill their attack manipulation card to stop the life gain

so overall: 6.3/10 a good card, clearly for elo, but with other better Skeelz cards out there i definitely won't be using him in any Skeelz deck in the future, only really good for beginners that can't afford the more expensive Skeelz cards.

so how did you guys like my first real review i will definitely be posting more on other cards so please rate up:-d

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Hmmm.... seeing as they fixed the glitch, by other post shouldn't be on the front anymore.

(Hey everyone... seeing as the new comment boxes have a 500 character limit, I shall be making these Skeelz reviews and adding in a bio of the character behing them now... a self written bio. I will be going back to the old Skeelz student, revamping their review logs, as there are plenty of mistakes, and adding a little background check behind it. It won't be a fast opperation, but it will get done... as such, Drake, Belgosi, and Aigwon Noel's reviews will take a bit longer. I hope you all can wait out!)
