c Wurmhol

Released on Friday 31/12/10

Growing her worms is a tricky process for Astrid that needs close supervision. But when Wurmhol was still in his vat, Astrid was arrested by Dayton for having trashed the sidewalk where her worms relieved themselves. And by the time she was released, Wurmhol had grown too big to be kept on a lead! So, she now lets him take himself off for walks in the sewers, where he gobbles up everything he encounters.

This card isn't that strong. I was excited that a new GHEIST character was out but was disappointed when I saw Wurmhol ....
Yeah he is a filler but he is not that good as Z3r0 D34d and Arkn I'd even use Platinum or even Elke over this card but I think I'm being to rough on this card he also has a good side his defeat comes in handy 'cause it's poison but his poison is weak and it has a high minimum Defeat: poison 1, min 4 isn't very useful if his ability was at the minimum of 0 or his poison was a little higher let's say 2 he would have been good, if that was the case I'd use him over Platinum or even over Z3r0 D34d ....
People say that he is great together w/ Wardom? Terrible combination as you just made Wurmhol 's Defeat even more useless you see after Wurmhol has been defeated and activated Wardom 's revenge Wurmhol 's Defeat would be useless 'cause your opponent life would be at the poison's minimum thus making poison useless

Rating: 4.5/10 This wasn't GHEIST really needed what GHEIST needs now is a great 3* w/c can be a replacement for the CRAZY Elo Bans of Leviatonn and Bristone

if they make one of astrid's worms, why don't they make one of Warren's peanuts?

Wurmhol - 7/1 Defeat: Poison 1, Min 4

Hmm... First impression is that this card isn't terrible. Not great, but not terrible.

-7 power is always nice
-Defeat: Poison means that something good will happen no matter what (except for SoA, of course ^__^)
-A GHEIST 2* is a good thing

-1 damage makes you hard pressed to... lose...
-Absolutely no bluff potential.
-Zero Dead and Arkn are both miles above this card
-4 is a highish min, losing to Freaks and most poisons
-GHEIST has no shortage of poison cards, all with lower mins than Wurmhol
-7 power isn't your friend when you're trying to lose.

So, I don't see much use in this card's future. He can only be played second, as any pillz on him are wasted, leaving no room for interpretation of your move. His ability is lacking as well, with a low poison in the first place undercut by a high min. He'll be used in beginner decks, but let me make a suggestion to them all: If you NEED poison, use Ludamilla. Same star count, one less power, but she'll work out better than this worm ever will.

4/10, and that's partially due to the fact that some expert is bound to show me up and win ELO with him someday.

i know i might get called a retard or something for this.... but if u think about it... GHEIST have cards like Anibal and Wardom, who use revenge to get a good boost.... so u have to sacrifice a card for tht, so if u use Wurmhol , you not simply wasting the round... you gettin in a poison, however weak it is, its still a minor irritation that could help you win.

rate me as you please

Vryer's Experiment Log:

Experiment #167

Since my lord and master, Doctor Sigmund, graciously allowed me to refuse doing a review on Astrid, I felt it was only fair that I do a review on her 'pet' worm, Wurmhol. The thing is just like her owner Astrid, both are more trouble than their worth. I mean, I know it was me who recommended Astrid to join GHEIST, but that was before I knew how crazy and psychotic she would become. I know she's my responsibility and all, and I'm very glad to meet someone else who is devoted to something they love, but even I cross the line when doing something that will likely destroy my sanity.

As Doctor Sigmund explained in his review, we found Astrid when she was lying in a gutter about to be taken up by Death. I managed to persuade Doctor GHEIST to allow me to experiment on her, as I could sense some sort of power inside of her. Worst choice I've made in my life. I brought her back to my lab, so I could figure out the reason why she wasn't allowed to eat. The reason was the 'power' I spoke of earlier. Inside of her, were little baby worms that blocked her immune system, preventing her from digesting solid foods.

Using my superior intellect, I managed to release the worms from her body, which increased her health dramatically, but also started her worm obsession. She spent days in her lab, experimenting and caring for her worms. She looked at them as if they were her own 'kids.' I pity the poor fool who gets hooked up with her. Anyway, one day, she decided to take her worms for a walk, which was a stupid idea in itself. And I was right. While preparing for another experiment, we received a report that Astrid had been arrested by Dayton of the Sentinel. I knew something like this was bound to happen.

Many of the GHEIST suggested that we leave her to rot in the Cell, since it was her own fault she was captured. I had to admit, they had a good point. What idiot walks in broad daylight when they are wanted all over Clint City for being part of a secret crime organization? Apparently, Astrid does. But I stepped in for her, saying that she was a fellow GHEIST, and that we couldn't abandon her. Many disagreed with me, but Dr. Sigmund said I was right, which is an insult, since I'm almost always right.

As the GHEIST were preparing for a raid, I took the opportunity to sneak into Astrid's labs, and observed some of her worms. Fascinating creatures, they were. So innocent, so cute, so... dangerous. Which meant they were perfect creatures to test some of my deadly serums on. Taking a random one from the vet, I hurried to my lab. Lying the poor worm out on the table, I injected the serum into him. At first he lay motionless, and I thought the serum had killed it. Sighing, I prepared to dispose of the worm, but then I looked as the creature started pulsating and slowly started growing bigger.

I looked as the creature was now at least 7 feet tall and 4 kilometers long. If it had been any longer or any taller, then it would have broken through the roof and the walls of the GHEIST base. Intrigued, I performed more tests on the creature, and was fascinated by what I saw. Apparently, the serum increased its age and as it got older, it got stronger. By the time I was done with my research, the GHEIST had managed to retrieve Astrid and had returned to the base. When Astrid first saw the worm, she was speechless. Suddenly, she ran and hugged it, as if she had just found a long-lost pet. I dared not tell her what I did to make her such, less I suffer for messing with her pets.

After a few days, the serum had made its way out of Wurmhol, the name of Astrid's new pet. She and the worm have gotten quite fond of each other; not to say she isn't fond of all the worms she grows, but she certainly does feel something for Wurmhol. Nowadays, we allow her to take walks in the sewer. It allows her to care for her worms, and keeps her out of the Sentinel's hands. Seeing as how more lethal and dangerous Wurmhol's poison was becoming, Sigmund made it a member of GHEIST. So whenever Astrid is fighting, Wurmhol will be right beside her, fending off danger.

...Heh. You know I just realized something. At the beginning of my review, I said that I cross the line when doing something will destroy my sanity. But performing all these henious experiments I do, I realized that a person's sanity could already be long gone when you do what I do. Don't believe me, look at Dr Saw. I rest my case.

whats wrong with the concept for this card? i dont get why people are complaining. GHEIST are manufactured for the most part and within most genre of storyline in a movie basis, there is always a malfuntion and an irregularity which grows stronger and threatens people. classic storyline script. only problem with this cards release is the fact its a 2 star GHEIST really need a 3 star to fill in the void for elo bans! stats arent great however that ya can complain about :)
