The Vortex are not always at war! Sometimes they need to rest, celebrate their victories and design new weapons. That’s why the Negotiator’s role is essential and is also highly lucrative of course. Izsobahd vowed that one day he’d become Kha’alif, the supreme Negotiator, instead of the Kha’alif...

In a distant future, a prophet revealed to the menacing Dregn that an alliance of the descendants of the Clint City Clans would bring about the downfall of his evil empire and an end to his reign of terror. To put a stop to this defeat, Dregn has sent his best fighters to eradicate the problem at its source, that is 1000 years earlier, at a time when the clans are at their most divided.

A reference to iznogoud, a french comics character written by goscinny (who also wrote asterix) whos catchphrase was: "I want to be Caliph instead of the Caliph"

Tremendous card against SOA teams. this card gives a HUGE advantage if your playing against SOA teams. also this card is stable enough against normal circumstances too.

-8 power... the highest... for a 3 star
-Scares the pants off SOA teams
-Did i mention that SOA is the big fear for her clan? So he helps a ton.
-Bonus gives back pills in a loss, gives this card flexability
-With ability activated... WIN=they lose life and pillz LOSE=they lose pillz and you get pillz
-Ability is as strong as smokeys, same as andsom with a better min, and has more power then both! In fact this card is BETTER then CORVUS (a 4 star)when against SOA (same pwr/dmg but this card has her bonus helping while corvus has his bonus keeping him alive.
-Kha’alif is coming soon lol hope that card is awesome
-Even if your opponent only has 1 soa card, you can make them play a certain way.
-Common card good for everyone

-3 damage is pretty low even for a 3 star.
-This card is only AMAZING against soa... who are usually banned...
-thus this card is just average on normal circumstances
-cards like spigahi makes this card a complete waste.
-art kind of scares me...

8.5/10 I find her more stable then many other 3 star options (aka the twins) She really helps her team and i think she will get some of play time.

Lovhak's War Journal

Entry #21

January 30, 2011

Subject: Izsobahd

Izsobahd was sent here as a negotiator, despite me becoming the Vortex Ambassador (come on, whats the diffrence) but not as the lead (or main, which ever suits the readers fancy) negotitator. he is meant to take care of smaller, somewhat insignificant matters with us and other clans. Plus, he to clean the toilets. Heh.
I honestly can't stand the putrid little slug. He is confident that he will become the greatest negotiator, greater than Kha'alif, the greatest Vortex Ambassador to ever live, but is stuck in the future with a terrible illness. Izsobahd is determined to take my job. MY JOB. I would remain leader of the R-1 Troop, but Ambassador is so cool. I get to do so many extra things without getting in trouble with the other clans, the only Vortex member that can. I mean, I honestly deserve it more than that...thing.
While I may be a gentleman at heart, a gentleman needs to fight dirty now and again. Dregn wanted izsobahd to deliver a set of video scrolls to the All Stars containing information about the weaknesses of the GHIEST, in an attempt to earn some All Stars trust. I replaced these with a set of embarrising ones that Izsobahd owned. When he showed them to the All Stars, they flipped. I rushed in quickly after that with the real ones, saying he must of grabbed the wrong ones. Dregn was infuriated, Made Izsobahd do more grunt work, and praised me for managing to keep the All Stars from going off on us. (I am not sharing what was on Izsobahd's video scrolls. That bad.)
Izsobahd better just go back to the future. He is no good here...not with me around.
Lovhak, Ambassador for the Vortex, and Commander of the R-1 Troop.

Side note from Rabble_Rouser:
I don't know if UR had planned way in advance to have an ambassador vortex, but it came shortly after I made Lovhak the Vortex Ambassador in my War Journal. Lovhak wins. Everytime. You cannot stop me UR!! Izsobahd will be useless in my War Journal! smiley

Stop AND Pillz reduce isn't a great combination, just look, the majority only have only 1 SOA per Deck*, and even more probably one SOA per hand, so... if you manage to play your SOA character at the final round Izsobahd 's Ability and Bonus is just useless and if you don't play against him, well... you stopped one ability and evade him \õ/

If you see him, just try to manage your SOA to the final round, and it will be ok, you still can easily defeat him because he don't have a Battle Stop Ability: "Attack, Power, -Power" or still can easily resist him, he don't have a Destruction Stop Ability: "Damage, Life (yes, it's destruction smiley)"

*Not talking about GHEIST and Roots in this review, and if you like a card, just because 10% 2/20 clans, he is awesome, he are lying yo to you. 10% i say, but in nowadays must be 4% with all these bans, Poor Roots smiley

Massively underrated and underplayed character.

Without his ability he is a 3* with 8 power great for defence or winning must win rounds.

But his ability is truely threatening, not only in cases where it actually comes into play. The ability synergizes so well with the vortex bonus that most opponents with any SoA in their team will desperately avoid activating the ability. Most viable teams run at least some form of SoA, and if they're not vortex definately has the ability to take advantage of this. So already the presence of Izsobahd is affecting the opponent's play.

If his ability does get activated he becomes an enormously potent card as he creates a win win situation. For example If played with only three pillz on him he creates a massive dilemma for the opponent. If they decide to let the three damage go by they gain no pill advantage and a life gap is created. If the opponent doesn't do this they will probably need to overpill or equally pill to beat him due to his power of eight. Then the vortex ability comes into effect, creating a pill gap of at least two, possibly more.

Well worth consideration in any mono vortex deck.

And once again a vortex card name is made by a cat rolling all over a keyboard.

1) Vortex's main problem is going against SOA izsobahd is great against SOA clans, he is also good for holding back opponents SOA cards because his ability and bonus combo is frightening.
2) The cards Power is the highest amongst all other 3 stars. A more stable card vs all stops and soa's than marty and deea. Only one less damage than other 3 but he's more likely to win.
3) Not only is he great against soa but he's good without the ability. Because he has 8 power he can be used in a variety of situations and his bonus backs him up if he loses. The worst card he can go up against is Ulrich so watch out smiley

Cool card even without the ability.
