Esther has always been an angry young lady. It has to be said that her home life was not exactly rosy and she was generally misunderstood at school. So she ended up running away and taking refuge at the Red One Motel using her savings “acquired” from her step-father’s house. And now that she’s one of the Berzerks, she can finally take out her explosive anger on anyone who crosses her path!!

After a Xantiax gas leak in the air ducts of the Red One Motel, all the staff and hotel guests were transformed into fearsome beings, possessed by a fury that can only be appeased by intense fighting. In fact, they would have ripped each other to pieces for time immortal if Cortez hadn't united them under a common cause: to find those responsible for their situation and make them pay!

If you zoom in and look at her backpack you can see Gil, hinting that she may of been to one of the Junkz' raves.

Does anyone think this is based on the character from Orphan who is also called Ester and they dress the same...

My own journal:

Today people started invading Berzerk cards with their stupid roleplay. One did it as Norman, the other, as Cortez, a card that didn't come out yet. I hope that this terrible habit of writing such journals will go away soon.

Signing off

I'd say people are seriously underestimating Esther and her ability. Sure, it's a poison of 1, but when working with the rest of the clan, this is priceless. She wins, she deals 3 damage and applies her poison. Next turn, deal more damage, she'll tick your opponent down 1 more. This means your opponent is probably at 2, 3, or 4 health by now, depending on who you hit with after Esther. What this means for you is that your cards (Berzerkers, theoretically) can now KO your opponent, and if you have a Berzerk deck, you need your foe to have the least amount of health possible in order to get them into the range of the actual damage for KO; In a clan like the Berzerk, where high damage on cards can break them since they have a life draining bonus, low damage is extremely common, so all the help you can get to push someone into that tiny window is extremely useful, and Esther is an excellent candidate for that job.

Nobody expects this card. If you know how to play she is devastating to your opponents.

Berzerk Files
Name: Esther
Previous occupation: Student
Room #15
It came to a surprise that there was a schoolgirl in our ranks, her name is Esther. Esther's real father was killed in a clan war between the GHEIST and the Montana, he was a innocent bystander when the clan war happened. Ever since Esther never came to terms with her sudden loss. Two years later her mother married, who would be her step-father. Esther wasn't happy at all, ever since kids at school were picking on her to the point where she sent a kid to the Rescue Hospital. Soon after that happened she ran away and took up residence in the Red One Motel, with money she stole from her step-father, via identity theft. She checked in on the day of the gas leak, and was one of the last one's affected by the gas. Since the formation of our clan, she hasn't regretted becoming a Berzerk.

@Poison Ivy89
Gil 's description:
"Some people claim that Gil doesn’t really exist and that he’s nothing more than a figment of the imagination of the city’s school girls. That’s quite possible and would explain why you only ever see him surrounded by hundreds of young girls chanting his name in a trance-like state."

Thats why he is there!

Esther 7/1 ( Ability: Poison 1 min 2 ) ( bonus: -2 opp life min 2 )

-7 power is stable
-Poison with a low minimum of 2 is solid
-Her bonus is what makes this card special when it gets blocked by SOA. 3 damage with a possibility of 5 with fury when blocked by SOA is amazing from a 2 star.
-8 possible damage if used with fury. not many 2 stars can boast this.
-This is a handy bluff card as well considering people dont want to get hit with his poison in conjunction with the bonus also hitting. Any time you can bluff with a 2 star you have an advantage.
-Its current price is 200 clintz which is amazing considering the usefulness of this card.

-SOA hurts it but not that much thanks to the bonus.
-All stops make this a 1 damage card, but if your opponent is playing his all stop vs this card than you probably have the advantage anyways thanks to this being a 2 star.

overall: 8/10 Esther is a staple in Berzerk mono decks alongside Melanie.

why is everyone is saying his bad card
look 1 own damage and 7 power lot of 2 star and 200clint card has 1 damage
and 1 poison min2 not a lot card has min2 poison
and the clans bonus makes him pretty good
first use him in round 1 give him 4 pill or 5 the opposing player will probably think his sacrifice and boom
1 damage probably 2 poison damage and 2 clan damage whole 5 damage and finish him off with 7 damage
most importantly you will only use 4 pill if you ask me this is a pretty awesome cardsmileysmileysmileysmiley

Look closely at her shirt/blazer in her level 2 art... See it? smiley

guys guys, she sucks.
Just think about it. Her poison does 3 extra damage. And you will probably never get that in especially against montana and uppers. So basically she can do 6 damage, but its slow and hard to get in. Shes also has to be esed at round 1

If she wasn't with berzerk, she would probably join the Junkz

Berzerk Review #7

+ Good 7 power
+ The combination Poison 1 min 2 + Bonus can create a big life gap

- 1 dmg is meh
- she has to win in the first round for the biggest effectiveness

Esther is not a bad card. The 1 dmg might throw you off but its the life gap that makes her strong. That being said either SoA or SoB weakens this card a lot.

Usefulness: 75%
Price/quality: 80%
