@ leeroyjenkins21/guest

that is probably the worst no. 1 reveiw Ive seen and seeing as you dont have an account anymore Im gonna guess you rated it up with chain accoiunts anyway

Gork, in my opinion has the best backlash in the game

But Dobbs he deals 6 damage to you if he wins which is only 2 life difference

well that seems to be a point alot of people are making but let me tell you why thats so good
youre opponent is running an FPC deck he sees that you use Gork on the first turn

"oh Ill let him win wait to turns then kill him with my Kuei"

so he throws away his Leader or something

but I only used 1 pill on Gork so he has 4 life and 12 pillz I have 12 life and 11 pillz then I kill him with 11 pill Rolph/Toro

rate up if you think Gork is severely underrated

Backlash poison doesn't replace opp's poison on you. Tried it... failed... So although this is a bummer, Gork is still a good EIGHT DAMAGE card!!

i just discovered a rather jammy use for Gork: negating worse poison effects!

you can only feel one poison at a time so if you've got Sylth on your back or hazel, you can use Gork to replace it with something more managable

in your face anti-Gork crowd!

Gork is underestimated and lots of people believe him to be a bad card. his poison can be used in a helpful way:

If you use Gork in the first round people take more notice of his ability than his damage.
You can easily get away with using little pills and still winning with Gork.

If you win the first round you have dealt 8 damage, you've poisoned yourself but still have 12 health.
in the second round your opponent cant use the poison to KO with a 8 damage card with fury because of the minimum 4 poison. your opponent will have 4 life left and probably think that you don't want to loose any life because of the poison, so will most likely assume your going to KO them with the next card.

Put a couple of pills on your best card just incase they see the bluff, if not they will pill to beat however many pills you have left. and hurt you say 6 damage, then you take 2 life of your own due to poison.

your now left with about 6 pills (4ish on Gork, 2ish on your best card) the odds are your opponent has less pills, your both on 4 health and you can finish them of with your final card.

Hope this has helped (and made sense).
Hope you can now see the true potential of this card.

The main points are:
1. Poison doesn't hit straight away
3. He has 8 damage

Think he should have 8 power though, 7 power puts people of.

this makes sense at first but most poison cards in the entire game wouldn't be able to poison you if you're running a GHEIST deck anyway with the exception of Greem. I'd rather go with Wardom

I kind of agree and disagree w/ Guest.
But you cant agrue w/ 7/8 for a lvl 5 so i think he underrated it a bit in the top review
but i agree self-poison is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of on this game.
Playing him last is a good plan but there's gonna be times where playing him last his a horrible idea.
Point is is that he doesnt suck but the backlash ability is horrible. So just think before you act w/ him and he could possibly be a threat towards your opponent

i'm debating between my last card in a mono GHEIST deck and i've been reading about multiple cards i can use. currently with 8 cards my deck hits 24*, so i could swap out a 4* and throw in another 5*. the remaining 5*s i hav are Gork and Wardom, personally i think i'm gonna go wit my Wardom cuz i feel like he fits better wit the rest of my deck. but i just wanted 2 give my opinion on Gork since i feel many people who obtain him tend 2 fear him more than trust him.

-7/8 (7/10 with fury)...umm, did someone say monster! his base stats make him a great 2HKO candidate with Z3r0 D34d for example
-SoA, yes this doesn't help against clans that hav SoB bonus, but for the other clans this could seriously destroy the # of possible strategies
-Down grade current poison afflictions with own his ability, or sacrifice ability for power house stats against SoA cards/Clans
-fits in well with many strategies/schemes
-Also he is standard compatible, this really isn't a big deal, but if you like playing standard he is a very powerful card that can still fit the format
-finally, for the real card game fans out there, he has some sweet artwork with a great concept

-5*, ok let's be honest as much as holding a 5* card makes us feel powerful the bottom line is it takes up more deck space limiting the number of strategies, more importantly this seems to be a game that to favor lower *s (regarding the tie system), but that kinda goes for every 5* out there

So in end this is an opinion of a GHEIST fan, but i'm also a huge fan of pretty much every clan so don't think this is just a fan boy clan buffer talking. overall i'd say he is probably 8.5 or 9 /10. the pros far out way the cons, he has great base stats with a great bonus, and doesn't over rely on his ability (really, would prefer not 2 use it unless there is a stronger version on the user) like many other cards in the game. he can hold his own in half or mono decks, and is plenty effective against every clan in this game, especially his own and Roots, and appears to prefer those kind of encouters by benefiting rather than suffering. So i hope this helps with any Gork concerns. Rate Green if you like or appreciate so others can benefit
