r Lucy

Released on Friday 09/03/12

After an intensive course with La Junta, Lucy has come to the conclusion that shot-guns may be cool but war is a messy business and from a fashion point of view, the soldiers’ uniforms are really uncool. So she’s joined the Pussycats and has played an active part in creating the Pink Commandos and designing their uniforms and weaponry.

First development of the 2 of this character’s different developments:

  • PussycatsLucypicture
    3Ability unlocked at
    1-2 Opp Damage, Min 1
  • PussycatsLucypicture
    7Stop Opp. Bonus
    2-2 Opp Damage, Min 1

Ability of Lucy:

Stop Opp. Bonus

The opponent’s clan Bonus, if activated, is cancelled. If the opponent's clan Bonus is not activated, then the ability has no effect.

-2 Opp Damage, Min 1

If Pussycats loses their fight, the Damage inflicted on Pussycats’s owner will be reduced by 2 points or up to a minimum of 1. If the winning character’s Damage points are lower than or equal to 1, then the Ability has no effect.

I never thought I would see a 2* Pussycat better than Wanda. Great to mix things up defensively and stop bonus dependent clans and the SOB clans that Pussycats usually struggle against.

9.5/10 There is no reason not to play this card in any mono Pussycat T1/elo deck. Great card.

I would love to see a "support" ability Pussycat Card

The other Pussycats with Stop Opp Bonus are Baby Q (Who is a heavy 4* with an all too light 6 power), Clara (A big 5* with only 5 damage and far too much competition) and Tania (A 3* with a hilarious 2 power). That is to say, you probably haven't been using Stop Opp Bonus in your Pussycat decks, have you? Baby Q's low power for a 4* in a clan with no power/attack manipulation makes her a struggle to win with at best, Clara has to stand up to the likes of Ditha, Charlie, and the ever-solid Lena, and Tania...well. Tania has 2 power. So basically your opponent knows his bonuses are safe as soon as he sees that pink cat.

Lucy offers some better options. For a clan whose bonus doesn't actually help them win at all but rather helps them lose, your opponent's bonus is by far your worst enemy. And so much of Pussycats is playing around that bonus, more so than any other clan (sans perhaps Freaks and Rescue)--so getting it blocked by Nightmare or Piranha's is not a fun time at all. In addition, because your bonus doesn't help you win, the "big bonus" clans like Uppers and Montana can be REALLY threatening, even if they lose, and if you want a chance in hell of beating them, you'll be pilling big. Lucy, though, lets you block that bonus, and even though she doesn't do much when she wins with her tiny 2 damage, it makes it so her opponent DIDNT win, which is still useful when going up against those big -Life min x or Poison cards.

Lucy's biggest flaw is her competition. The Pussycats have got powerful 2* to spare. Ella is amazing especially with her bonus, Wanda is famously useful, Ivana tears many terrifying cards to shreds, and Brittany can win quite a few fights with attack manipulation. What Pussycats also have, though, are powerful 5* to spare--Lena, Ditha, Charlie, etc. Consider combining the two! Instead of following the "rule" of having one 5*, maybe a couple 4*, few 3* and a couple 2*, use a few extra 2* to make room for the big Cats that are complete gamechangers!

...still waiting for that Support: Attack+[x] Pussycat, though. ;-)

Oh Lucy, Lucy why won't the staff get that you are making Pussycats so annoying and unpredictable?
Let's take a look at her base stats and ability and explain why this card has to go. 7 power 2 damage Stop. Opp. Bonus as an ability and - 2opp. damage min 1 as a bonus. So you are basically looking an an Artus though the difference is that Artus can't attack or let's say you are most unlikely to attack with a 5 powered card.
I consider Lucy to be a bit like Ella but on steroids. While Ella has 5 power and her ability pairs up with her bonus that bears little chances of being a card that you would attack with, Lucy is an unpredictable card, and that is because of her 7 power. Lucy can simply wreck cards like Ongh,Kerozinn Cr and the list goes on and on. Point is we wouldn't mind if she just did that, that is if she had a low power like Ella and Artus. The fact that she is 7 powered is a problem. She can go head on with 2 * 3* 4* 5* cards while she reduces their damage by two and stops their bonuses as well.
Basically you are looking at a 2* filler card, a "wall" with the lowest star count you can get, that can attack as well:shock::sweat:
Let's just not mention the increasing capabilities that Nabrissa added to the Pussycats clan:x

As I have said in another characters comment page,(Kerozinn's page specifically) this is yet another case of a misjudged ban decision. On the last permanent elo update the majority of players "voted" on Clover to go,as if a 6 powered card with 5 damage is that difficult to get countered:sweat: while the clan received another 2* card long before(and we are talking about a clan with a vast majority in that department).
We still see a lot,and I do mean a whole lot, presets with Pussycats as half with the usual Lucy + Nabrissa or 2x5*cards decks not because players are crazy or whatever but because they realize that with Lucy, the "wall", there isn't much you can do about it. Even a low star hand can reward you with a win just because you got this card in hand.

Eromreven is completely right.
Rate green if you agree Pussycats need a solid Support:Attack+[x] card (preferably +5).:thumbsup:

This card is 10/10. It has no flaws. 8/2 would be OP so being a 7/2 is the best it will ever get.

A card doesn't have to be Kiki Cr to be a 10/10 card.

I love how her gun has sparkles ;D

What makes this card good is that it's great low-star SOLID defensive card, in a clan full of defensive cards that tend to be weak against SoB. That reduction of 2 with low min is GREAT with the SoB-ability, because SoB-clans tend to have a lot of low damage cards. And, if there isn't any SoB-bonus to fend off, she can still act pretty well.
The another thing is that Pussycats have a lot of high-risk high-reward cards, and some that have just the high-reward part.
Lucy has PERFECT synergy with them: throw her in, opponent nearly always has to spend at least to spend one pill (two to be secure) and she still has that low-min reduction of 2. She is just all-around perfect, that's all I can say.
