Employed for several years by No Nam, Tolliver had gone a bit forgotten in the base’s kennels. It has to be said the members of La Junta are not particularly interested in things that don't explode and have dragon breath. Nonetheless, the dog handler didn’t lose heart and when the Frozn turned up in town he leapt at the opportunity to show what he was really made of. He’s trained Pluton, a ferocious hound that has to be the best yeti hunter of all time.

These light-hearted, loudmouthed fighters are as nimble in their actions as they are in their wisecracks. As supporters of a strong regime, these soldiers have decided to bring society into line, starting by shaving the heads of the wimpy youth. In the long term, they’d be more than happy to take over the running of the government from those “bunch of morons”.

He is cheap because he is in the Newblood packs still and when people see the new charectors that come out they want them and they get tolliver instead and they sell him cheap. When he leaves the New Blood packs his price should go to 500+
rate green if you know this because youre smartsmiley

Tolliver review smiley

+3 power is a nice ability, when played with courage
9 power is great for a 2 star
Only 2 stars!
Nice 5 damage
Nice art
Standard card (Playable in standard mode)
Good for 2HKO
He works well with ambre (Both courage) that could make him a heart stopping 12 power!

Cons smiley
Courage will just make you'r opponent throw away a SOA or a power reducer to get tolliver back to 6 power
SOB makes him only have 3 damage
If he is cheap, he will be used alot

Overall: 8.7/10

Tolliver is a lovely addition to the la junta, he is usefull for lots of differant decks and game formats, i recommend using tolliver for beginners (Cheap) and for pros!

An awesome 2 star card

Courage can be problematic. It's a tip-off for your opponent's SOA for sure. But think of it this way: Would you rather they use the SOA on Tolliver or on, oh, I don't know.... Isatis? Chiro? Naginata?

It's a win-win really. If they let Tolliver through you have a 9/5 BEFORE Fury. 9/7 potential with a 2* is insane. If they throw their stopper, your Support cards (La Junta have quite a few very good ones, particularly Isatis and Chiro) get their +4s to something, or if you're using the Support DR whose name escapes me at the moment, -4 damage which is awesome.

So... I really like Tolliver. I'd definitely recommend him for your Junta ELO decks. But La Junta have way too many good 2*s in Thormund, Tolliver, Dean, the Support DR, Wardog... It depends what you need, or you could use all 5 alongside whichever 3 5*s you so choose. Or pick 4, or 3, or even 2. So many great 2*s means La Junta can do a ton with their decks.

In summary: Tolliver's good.

I have the final form of Tolliver!!!! smiley I got him from the market!

Why is Tolliver so cheap? I prefer him over Dean and Wardog. I've gone 1st turn Tolliver into 2nd turn Trish w/ fury a bunch of times. Nobody ever sees it coming >_>

Thurmond is probably a little better in mono, but his lack of damage can really be painful at times. Tolliver is the best 2* for half deck La Junta and he only costs 170 clintz!

If people use Crowen they gotta use him.

Trying to decide between him and Scooty smileysmileysmiley Any ideas which?

Why is the Junta Clan so cheap!!! I just came out of a 15 game winning streak with junta common characters....

This card is the best, its Courage ability its not a downside but an upside. I often play this card either first or second but its usually for forcing my opponents to dish out some pills before I bring the cavalry. On occasions I have won games with opponents thinking that I was going to fake with him, but didn't...LOL smiley

He is kinda like Franklin and Chop from GTA 5

Tolliver is a great card but I don't think it is the best in Junta. It just doesn't suit the play style of Junta. Most of the time, your pills would be used to spend on high-powered nukes such as Pilzken, Isatis. In other rounds you would use a low-stared card to wall and force your opponent to use more pill to win the round (Scooty, Thormund) or to reduce damage (Sabia). Tolliver is kind of low-stared nuke which you need to pill to use him right, so it doesn't really suits Junta.

Fun fact- he's the cheapest card to get a dt penalty as of today

Clint City, night.
