So... it's not like I haven't faced her before, but when using my
Jungo deck, the one with no attack/power manipulation (besides
Ongh that is) I happened across an
Uppers deck that sported
Nellie. Now I won the fight, obviously
, but something really irked me. I found myself doing math after the fight to confirm my suspicion. This card, along with most
Uppers (my opinion) is totally broken. Now besides the fact that SOA can even the playing field, if you don't have that or any attack/power manipulation then you are pretty much screwed and here is why.
A card with between 4 and 7 natural power needs to have 5 pills to beat out
Nellie if she only used 2.
This power struggle goes on up until
Nellie uses 6-7 pills. The opponent can only overpower her until 9, let me make that more clear NINE PILLS!!!!
Meaning, that you would need to pill (assuming your star level is lower than hers) 9 precious pills to win the fight. While the opponent only has to pill 6.
If you were bluffed and are facing an
Uppers team....lord help you.
Even if you won the round.....is nine pills worth it? Against mono
Uppers? No not at all, Never. So the obvious choice, unless you have DR, is to let her pass, but what if they used no pills or only 3 or 4? That's six damage people, that's more than a healthy chunk of your life gauge. Am I complaining? Kind of, but I won and know how to outmaneuver
Uppers users so my true purpose is to get your feedback on this.
What do you think?
