After the (chaotic) release of the Standard mode and the first feedbacks, we have taken decisions on several things we want to let your know. We think you will be satisfied with the future improvements we will add first.
• Improvement of the quickbattle system in DTs.
We already made corrections, it seems that the small decks vs big decks problem is far less met. We will keep on working on it until the partition T1/T2 is not a problem any more.
• Penalties on some characters in DTs.
The first 2 points penalties per character are already operational and you can find the list here: http://www.urban-rivals.com/help/?category=9-0
Except for Leader, for the moment there are no penalized Standard characters. It may change, we give ourselves time to analyse DTs.
• DTs divided in two.
Finally we won’t alternate DT’s. We will let you have two DTs at the same time, 1 Standard, 1 Extended. With two different rankings.
• Length of a DT shorten but increase of its frequency.
DTs length will decrease from 1 hour to 45 minutes with a 15 minutes break between each tournament and then you can play again. It means there will be 24 Standard DTs and 24 Extended DTs per day.
To prevent abuses, a limitation of 8 DT credits per day and player will be added (you will receive all other rewards if you play more than 8 DTs).
• Survivor Standard and Deathmatch Standard rooms.
They will be open soon, we are working on an update of the flash game.
Questions you may want to ask:
• The number of CR remain at 5. It might change in the future.
• A PM will be sent to you each evening if you made a top 150 during the day so as to inform you if you have won a collector (or not).
• The timer will be reduced from 60 to 50 seconds again.
Nvm, I figured it out through my frustrations. I noticed the background of the cards.. GG me. Kk, thanks!
I have 23* desk. My opponents in tournaments should be 16*-23* desks, right? I have to fight against strong desk lately. 5 minutes ago I have a fight with 2*, 2*, 2*, 3* against 3*, 4*, 4* ,5*. It can`t be 23* desk. At least 24*. What`s the matter?
Hii Bagadur from your info above i can only make out that you have been playing in standard format.
since now there are only few players who are playing standard fromat i can tell you that its hard for the system to find you an opponent in level format.
so may be sometimes it selects a player from level 2 to fight against you.
"3*, 4*, 4* ,5*. It can`t be 23* desk. At least 24*"
Actually, the other half could be 2,2,2,1 to hit the 23* point, as there isn't anything restricting the use of underleveled cards.
IMHO it is not a matching system's problem..the fact is that most of players in DT nowadays use deck over the 30*...in some moments they likely reach the absolute majority of DT players. So when you play 23* it isnt surprising to face 75% of adversaries with overpowered hands. There arent any lower to match...
If you like to play 25* there are elo, dm25* and surv elo
if you like to play 30*-40* there are DT, DM and surv
if you like to play 23-28*, WHERE do you play?
uh, forgot...there's training
I make a 8 card deck of 26-28 stars of expensive cards I worked hard to get first I get penalized for using them and then I go on a 7 win streak in Type2 DT only to be unevenly matched with a deck I know I can't beat and here I thought it was me, after reading this thread I am not surprised that its not just me. I really think the the matchmaker is rigged, this is one reason i believe that, it is so hard to win the free credit in DT because it forces players to use real cash if they want to buy packs.. I used to make 5 credits a day and in 2 weeks I could buy New Blood packs now I make 3 free credits a day... We need a regular DT room without any bans or penalties so some of us can use the cards we payed good money for and still get our free credit.. Even when u use real cash to get these badass cards u encounter bans and penalties and if u make a decent 26-29 star deck u WILL be unevenly matched with a 55 star deck... Every time it happens to me I just laugh .....
