To clarify wasteroftime-

Say you play on Monday, you make 1100 ELO. You don't play on Tuesday, you get no penalty. You don't play on Wednesday, you get a -2 point penalty, your now down to 1098 ELO. The same happens throughout the rest of the week if you don't play a single game on any of the days.
