We have just released a new version of the game which should please you a lot (we hope it will ). We changed few things on the pillz menu and now you could chose EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME if you want to play in random mode, no random or following the battle room settings.
You will find a new "Preferences" menu on top of the players list in each battle room. You will be able to chose the settings.
If you chose "Normal" : you will play in random mode
If you chose "No random" : you will play in no random mode
If you chose "Any" : the game mode will depend on the choice of your opponents or on the room settings if you opponent has chosen "Any" too.
A player who will chose "Normal" will NEVER play with a player who has chosen "No random".
It's the end of DTs in a mode you dislike. You could play exactly the way you want, all the time.
Have fun !
PS : one of the two ELO battle room will be change in a ELO training zone as there is no point in having a random and no random room any more.
PSé: You could also play in Survivor "Normal" if you want.

Could "normal" be changed to "random" ? I don't think that people in, say, ELO, will know that "random" is "normal" if they were usually playing in the ELO/non-random room

Nope, we dont want to call "normal": "random", it's not.
If Attack didn't have any effect, we would call it random.
