After the (chaotic) release of the Standard mode and the first feedbacks, we have taken decisions on several things we want to let your know. We think you will be satisfied with the future improvements we will add first.
• Improvement of the quickbattle system in DTs.
We already made corrections, it seems that the small decks vs big decks problem is far less met. We will keep on working on it until the partition T1/T2 is not a problem any more.
• Penalties on some characters in DTs.
The first 2 points penalties per character are already operational and you can find the list here: http://www.urban-rivals.com/help/?category=9-0
Except for Leader, for the moment there are no penalized Standard characters. It may change, we give ourselves time to analyse DTs.
• DTs divided in two.
Finally we won’t alternate DT’s. We will let you have two DTs at the same time, 1 Standard, 1 Extended. With two different rankings.
• Length of a DT shorten but increase of its frequency.
DTs length will decrease from 1 hour to 45 minutes with a 15 minutes break between each tournament and then you can play again. It means there will be 24 Standard DTs and 24 Extended DTs per day.
To prevent abuses, a limitation of 8 DT credits per day and player will be added (you will receive all other rewards if you play more than 8 DTs).
• Survivor Standard and Deathmatch Standard rooms.
They will be open soon, we are working on an update of the flash game.
Questions you may want to ask:
• The number of CR remain at 5. It might change in the future.
• A PM will be sent to you each evening if you made a top 150 during the day so as to inform you if you have won a collector (or not).
• The timer will be reduced from 60 to 50 seconds again.
Great ideas, the only problem is that now it is even harder to get a CR. Also, I think that while taking away some of the DT bans was good, there should be a bit more at least.
Thx for all the changes euzebe and staff. These changes definitely make dt's less stale and more fun than befre
I like the changes. Always a reason to be playing UR now.
As none of the mods can be bothered to post the link in english hopefully this will take ou there
now the only changes we need is to make a minor adjustment to the formats to add variety and make it easier for new players to afford a competative deck.
My suggestion is to change the stupid format to one that is for decks of 25 stars or less, this inotive format allows a choice from a selection of over 900 cards many of which will be cheap but competative, with simple advice from a supportive guild any player new player will cheaply and quickly be able to put together and master a deck which will allow them a decent chance of winning whilst keeping a wide range of clans available. This solves the problem of only a few clans being playable and you needing to spend a fortune to have a chance of getting the few good cards avavailable. It should also increase variety in a room which I am told is incredably monotonous and only contains a few clans. I would call this new innotive game enhancing format Type 1 (or T1 for Short).
The obvious thing is then to change extended to decks over 25 stars we could call this type 2 (or T2 for short) this room would be great for those wanting to get through quick battles with many high level cards, or those wanting to take on these decks with lower star decks thus maximising their DT scores through strategy rather than having the most money to spend.
I think this would improve things
So, it is fine right if we go in and aim for the 50 clintz? for 48 DTs
hey, more money to the new players
but of course this will make a very huge inflation problem
Ok, so there will be a lottery for 150 of 3600 players who got into top 150 per day? Or for all 3600 people? Cos i got yesterday 12th, 2253rd and 128th places, why i haven't got mail about lottery and my friend, who played only 1 tournament and was 100th in it, got it? What logic about top players?
5/3600 chance at cr's a day is horrible, considering you have to sacrifice an hour and that doesn't even guarantee a 150th or under spot. The amount of Cr's should triple if not quadruple. 20 cr's to go around seems more fair.
