Does it match based on ranks or levels or is it totally random?

"In ELO you only fight players whose ELO score is between -50 and +150 of your own score"

Apart from that its random.

That right there seriously still confuses me. 50 below or 150 above.
I mean, Iet's say i'm at 1100. I can face anyone from 1050 to 1250. But, that person at 1250 can only face between 1200 and 1400. So I wouldn't be in his range while he would be in mine. Would we still be able to face eachother?

If the rule of -50 or +150 applies to every player of UR, then technically you shouldn't be able to play someone greater than 50 points above yourself without violating the lower end of their range. Because you know....if I was 150 points above your score then you are 150 points below my score...which is 100 points beyond the lower end of my range, and I'm not supposed to fight that....So....the -50, +150 thing really makes no sense.

I think its that you can only challange players within those ranges so you can challange the 150 higher player but they can send the challange to you.

(Back befor quick challange when you had to manually challange players this made more sense).
