First, thank you for your feedback on the first version of the new site project. Our goal is to rejuvenate the current website, make it clearer and easier to use, and above all make you enjoy it. This is why we need your feedback, positive or negative, so don't hesitate to tell us what you think.
We just released a new version of the website containing modifications developed according to your feedback and the survey.
You can check it directly here : beta.urban-rivals.com
Here follows what we modified on this version :
- you didn't like the new home page, and that the game was located on the home page as you felt like we forced you to play
-> the home page is now more like the current website's, with news, staff events, rankings, missions and friend infos
- you didn't like the menu's colors as it looked too childish
-> we put the same colors than the current website's menu
Game page :
- you didn't like to see the game on the homepage
-> the game has now its own page. You can access the game by clicking on the PLAY button
Design and pictures :
- you didn't like the background and its black gradient, as well as several design elements
-> we created a new background, brought color to stick with UR's style
- you didn't like that both collections (pro and normal) didn't work the same way
-> both views of the collection, list and cards, are homogeneous. The selection zone is the same, and can be used to sell on the Market, create auctions and create a deck. We are optimizing it so that it will display a lot faster.
- you like the album and having the missing cards' verso displayed
-> we are pleased to see you like it
- you thought the album was missing some informations about missing characters
-> we added their Market price and a "purchase" link to access directly to its sales on the Market. A "details" link is also present to go to the corresponding character page
We also corrected (and we still are) bugs you found.
Thank you again to help us improve Urban Rivals' website !

New bug, the friend news on the front page go down all the way to the bottom of the page and beyond with a nasty overlap with other things.
Guys - you didn't fix the right problem.
For a trader, the new website is UNUSABLE. It's not childish, it's not ugly, it's not designed in a way that doesn't appeal to somebody in particular, it's NOT FUNCTIONAL AT ALL. The old website is tricky to use, but you CAN use it, the new one - you can't.
1) I can't see how much I payed for a particular card. !!!
Old method: Open collection pro. Select a card to show all copies. Move the mouse over one, move the mouse over a card, then carefully move it to the big card on the left, left click, open in new tab, select "your card history" look at it.
New method: THERE IS NONE!
This is the ONLY improvement the site needed on the user front! A trader has to jump through hoops to see the MOST IMPORTANT bit of information for 80% of his collection, but we're doing it because it's impossible to trade sensibly without it. Heck, this is more important than the average market price - because you still have to open up the market and check the LOWEST market price.
Suggestion: Show the price you payed for every card right in the collections tab where the "Details" button is for same-card stacks. It's pretty much the only relevant detail to a trader anyway. Without this switching to the new website is akin to shooting yourself in the head for a trader.
There is no 2.
Until this is fixed there is no point to switching to the new site.
You can still see the character history if you go to the character page from the normal collection. Of course you're too busy shouting about the lack of it to think of that.
I think the personal info bar takes up a too much vertical space and doesn't need to always be there. Maybe you can make it retractable. It could be turned into a tab, right next to Friend News, just like how the in-game chat and slot machine work.
