I am not a big fan of dbz but I could see it happening as many are, and the style of characters might kind of fit the theme.

Here is to hoping though its more general sci fi inspired, Startrek, Starwars, Battlestar. Cobra pilots anyone , John Luke, Master Moda (Master odour?, with stink as his weapon! ), Lets have some killer hooded Jawa's simply called - Utini!!!

I think it would be funny if there was an Allied Master-computer who merges with an elderly man named Harlan so it could experience human life (kinda like a Borg). Anyone who's read or played the 90's computer game, "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" will get the reference.

UR likes their clans to contain play on words or at least have their names suggest a quality about the clan. Why should Vortex be any different? My bet is that Tex => Techs => Technology. Vortex is probably a clan from the future with advanced technology that they have used to create a wormhole to travel into the "past" aka the present.
