Taljion - 6/4 with Support: +3 (ability) and SoB (bonus)

- Decent 4 damage (6 with fury). Can 2HKO with Sliman or a furious Selma
- Ok 6 power is greatly magnified with his attack increasing ability. +12 attack is nothing to sneeze about. Just ask the Rescue. Even with a leader, +9 attack with very useable (or even more if it's Hugo)
- And to add insult to injury, Taljion has SoB, which saps all advantages a clan like Montana or Rescue would have.
- About time Piranas got a solid attack manipulator, he really forces the pills and plays the mindgames. He is a great bluff.

- SoA abilities kinda hurt. Just sayin
- He is mostly mono only. +6 power isn;t bad, but with Smokey Cr and Tyd in 3* half deck spots, Taljion has little area of use.

Overall: 8.5/10. Piranas gets another good 3* smiley Nifty and cunning attack mnaiplation is awesome and really promotes mono-Piranas. A solid card all around, that I highly support

~Captain Bloodh's Tavernous tails~

Okay sometimes my punishments don't seem to work very well around the ship. For example I might send someone to bed hungry. This only lead to people to do things disagreeably to skip Spycee's next meal, but the only other punishments I can ever think of put them out of work for weeks. So I decided to hire Taljion to do the "Dirty work" for me. Just by his appearance he has scared several of my crew member straight.

I cannot say I approve of Taljion's methods, but obviously they are effective. I have observed his punishment only a couple of times. Often they involve things like tying the victims hands behind their backs forcing them to lay on their back on the ground then proceeding to let his ax to slip and nearly fall on their stomaches only to be grabbed an inch away and with his foot "accidentally" land on their face in his attempt to grab it. Then once Taljion has the ax in his hand he will walk slowly around them then out of nowhere he will swing his ax down at them and at the last second turn it to slap them hard in the face. This will continue for amounts of time equal to the extremeness of the offence.

Taljion also does conventional punishments like whipping but he seems to not enjoy those as much ad only uses them for minor offences. He strikes fear into the hearts of his crewmates and I think he does a perfect job. I'll admit it; I would be scared to be sent to him.

The last artwork was confusing but I got it worked out. The skull is the back of his head and the thing that looks like a hat on the top right corner is a hand holding an axe. The hand on the bottom left is facing forward. If you looks very closely then you can see a tiny bit of his face to the left of the skull.

Taljion - "Heavy Brawler"

Ability Summary:
'Support: Attack +3' = +12 attack in a mono setting, +18 attack with zero pillz.

+ 4 Dmg is good. 2hitKo potential with fury.
+ 6 Power is ok. With +12 attack, however, Taljion becomes something of a heavy hitter.
+ His ability and clan bonus work in wonderful synergy to counter clans such as Montana, Rescue, and Uppers.
+ Good bluff potential.
+ Low pillz battle dominator.

- SoA abilities severely weaken his potential.
- He's a 3* in a clan of GREAT 3*s. In a mono deck he'll be essential, but in a half will he be overlooked for the mighty Smokey Cr, the ever stable Tyd, or Ulrich and his DR?

-----6-- Power
---4---- Damage
------7- Ability
-------8 Bonus/Ability Synergy

Overal Raiting at time of release: 9/10

Taljion is a wonderful addition and vastly increases the clan's mono viability by turning the tables on those clans and cards that gave our favourite fiendish fish so much trouble before. Whether or not he becomes a half-deck staple remains to be seen, but as a mono I think he's utterly essential.

Is it me orshould this card be worth way more at least 2k smiley

Best 3 star cards in order:
Smokey Cr best + pills card in game, no more to say
Tyd Massive wall he is 8/4 vs soa or sob
Ulrich (for half) Taljion (for mono) Ulrich is very well needed in this clan for DR and Taljion is monster in mono with sob and + 12 attack
Andsom is like smokey but just a bit weaker and in this clan 7 is ideal, none the less good decent card
Cyan is ok she can have massive pottential with ability tho so she beats greesh
Greesh can do 10 damage which is good but power is too low to win with
Rhed can make difference of 6 with ability and fares better against - damage but greesh is more improved against soa and - dr
Wheeler can make a big difference with his mass damage and pottential power but ability is very very shaky
Goldie bad power good abilty but power just aint strong enough to win with...
Aktara is like goldie but her ability helps her attack his doesn't contribute, bad card and only non playable

Talion (Taljion), Latin lex talionis, principle developed in early Babylonian law and present in both biblical and early Roman law that criminals should receive as punishment precisely those injuries and damages they had inflicted upon their victims. Many early societies applied this “eye-for-an-eye” principle literally. Learn is always good smiley

Anyone noticed in a mono setting Taljion is actually just Kerry with non-situational SoB, one less star and two less damage? Also not ELO-banned =D

Donnerstag 10/02/2011, 23:25

As he levels up, his axe gets...smaller?

Everyone says that SOA weaken him.

Yes it weakens, but if your opponent have SOA and you have SOB, it's a clash of base power. 6-4 are not very bad base stats for a 3*.

A very solid card in mono deck. Most of your opponents should use at least 3 pillz to overcome him since they would not use their bonuses.
