Amiral Coco, 6/3 with Copy opp. bonus (ability) and SOB (Bonus)

*SPOILER ALERT* Use him against Beeboy and you both get +2 power.


+ Three damage is above average for a two star
+ Copy opp. bonus mixed with SOB effectively lets you steal the other cards bonus, whilst being an all stop against GHEIST and Roots.
+ Ability-based SOA isn't very deadly considering he has alright base stats for a 2 star. Covers a nice weakness that most Piranas cards have.
+ Two stars. Lets you fit in some stronger cards, such as Scubb, Selma, etc.


- 6 power. Although its the average for Pirana cards, more and more cards are being released with 7+ power. Not a wise pill investment in certain situations.
- Copy opp. bonus fails against certain clans, for example Skeelz, Nightmare, and Piranas
- Competition. Bonnie Ld, Hawkins, Tula... Piranas have some good 2 stars. Considering that Bonnie Ld is banned in ELO, this isn't much of an issue, but in T1 it comes down to him or Tula.

Overall: 9.0/10 Solid stats, decent ability, 2 stars, no glaring weaknesses... Amiral Coco is an all-around good card. Most Piranas cards lack overall damage, and for a 2 star three damage is quite nice. And although his power is on the low side, SOB and COB (I'm coining the phrase now) help alleviate the weakness. The only hard part about using this card is deciding between it and Tula in an ELO or T1 deck, depending on how many 4/5 stars you have.

Well, it looks like Iago from Aladdin has taken to the seas, and I'm certain he's never been more bitter and acerbic.

As a tactician, I have to say that I like Amiral Coco a great deal. For a 2 star card, his stats are pretty nice, trading Power for added Damage, ending with:

Power: 6
Damage: 3

But it's not his stats that I like, because as with all low star count cards, it's all about his ability. Typically, a card's ability is what tells you how you will play it. Courage, Defeat, Confidence, +Power, or -Damage. The Ability is what tells you the role your card will be playing in your deck. But with the good Amiral Coco, you don't get that foresight. His role is new every time you enter a game.

Since Coco's Ability is to copy that of his opponent's, his role will always change to reflect the ability of his enemy. Against the Frozn, he's a counterattacker. Against the Rescue, he gets +12 attack (should it be a full Piranah deck), and should it be against the Roots he'll be a Full Shutdowner.

The Clan bonuses are typically the most powerful part of a card. It is why we end up making Mono-Decks, because we want to make sure we retain those special bonuses. It is why we latch onto a Clan and make them our favorites, because of the Bonuses. And seeing a 2 Star card that will end up giving you 2 Bonuses, that's just enchanting, right there.

BUT! There is a problem. Should you be up against a Clan that also has Stop Opposite Bonus, your Ability will pretty much be Nulled as if you had been hit with Stop Opposite Ability. And should you face the Skillz, your Ability will become Protection: Ability, which makes the ability worthless. As such, the Ability becomes something of a game of chance, where the tides of fate may turn right against you, leaving you on the desert isle named "Redundant."

As such, I can only recommend purchasing this card if you feel like pressing your luck, and having your games shaken up a little by the whimsy of fate. But knowing internet gamers, there'll be no shortage of people looking to test their fortune.

Amiral Coco appears to have belonged to Captain Haddock from the french comic series "Tintin". Captain Haddock was often comic relief, and swore a lot, ending with insults such as 'Parasites!', 'Iconoclasts!', or 'Freshwater swabs!'

@RitzMalheur- you are totally wrong... This card stops opponent's bonus while copying it...It means he could get +2 damage,+2 power and other bonuses while preventing your opponent using them...Think twice before writing a comment or at least before you actually play Amiral Coco in a battle...

4DPaladin_HoA While you say that COB is useless against Skeelz Nightmare and Piranas, so is SOB. COB is virtually SOB that is better against some clans and worse against others, depending what clan your in.

The fact that he basically steals bonuses, for some reason, reminds me of the little coin stealing monkey from 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

Yup, I think this might be my favourite every card.
