Zapatino is the smallest Huracan wrestler but you’d be wrong to underestimate him as he always comes good in the fights most loaded against him. On more than one occasion his opponents have slipped, come unstuck or even mysteriously passed out just as they seemed on the verge of delivering the coup de grace. And they all finish gulping for air after his "Zapata Head-Butt" that sends them flying. In Los Santos, touching Zapatino’s head is even thought to bring you good luck!

Their bonus in training mode would be +60 attack?

So his attack is a headbutt. And he's not very tall. Think about the body part he's headbutting smiley

I am absolutely in love with this card..

- Very very dangerous poison... in round 1 I play him... nobody expects a lot of pillz and BOOM... you got 2+2+2+2 = 8 damage through (it's not how you count it, but that's how it works for me)
- The bonus is amazing for this card since you play it at round 1 anyway..
- the poison got a freaking low minimum
- 6 power together with this bonus isn't too bad
-2* only

-...uhhm, only very effective inround 1 ??

total: 9.5/10

you might think this is exaggerated but I REALLY love this character... he helped me a lot with ...this -> 74 weeks, 74 ways

1464 with huracan thanks to him

Zapatino--Huracan--6/2--poison 2, min 2

First impressions: I think it has great clan synergy because this is an opening card, and the first turn is when you always have the most life. (12-15)

-Decent poison with a low min
-on the first turn in elo, zapatino has +14 attack to get his poison through
-solidish power with the bonus
-only two stars
-regular 2 damage

-SoA takes out the nice poison, obviously
-only 6 power. if the opponent manages to beat this card, your attack is reduced off the bat
-SoB is a problem, only 6 power is very low in high-pill battles
-all the cons of poison, cannot be used in later rounds

7.5/10 I think this is a good card, and if you are going to half-deck this clan with pussycats or jungo, this clan goes well with that as well. I believe better cards will come out though.

You call him the new Esther? Don't insult poor lil' Zapatino. He seems more like a new Ivy to me. +12 or +14 attack on the first turn, together with that poison and that min... Ouch, this guy can really bring the pain.

Dibs on his head!

~~Card review~~
~~Profile and stats~~
Name: Zapatino
Clan: Huracan
Power: 6
Damage: 2
Ability: Poison 2, Min 2
Bonus: +1 Attack Per Life Left

Positives: Decent power and damage
Nice poison
2 stars
Cheap card

Negatives: SoA or SoB cards can hurt him
Only used well in the 1st round, and that makes him predictable

Zapatino is so far the best 2 star from Huracan in my opinion. He has a great poison, decent power and nice damage for a poison card, and only 2 stars. I didn’t mentioned competition here because Gatuchica is even weaker against SoA or SoB. Some people would rather buy Mister Pollo instead… because you see lots of people using Roots or GHEIST,and also because Huracan is a good clan for ELO, right? Well, wrong. He might be only worse than Derby Queen, but that’s it. Use him, until you find a really awesome new 2 star who does what the clan really need.

~~Final score~~
8 out of 10
~~ Xeno

Possibly based on Emilano Zapata, a Mexican revolutionary. Headbutt (in addition to send headbutt) could be referring to his great mind (land reform advocate in early 20th century, the Mexican revolution) and poison could refer to how he chipped away the counter-revolutionaries with his small size(d army). Viva la revolución!

Tales of the Huracan #259

I had first met Zapatino at one of the many sports clubs in Los Santos. As much as I Iike to think of myself being above The Regime's idiotic, anti-disability propaganda, I still got caught up in it. When I saw him accept a match from a man more than twice his size, I quickly prayed to the Gods they would let him die peacefully. Thankfully, both they and Zapaitno made me eat those words as he effortlessly pinned his opponent down. Anyone who can do that is worthy of the Huracan.

In his last level, he looks like a giant potato ... not a pretty one either.

Zapatino...He looks like he'd headbutt you straight in the nuts and laugh...Dat lvl 2 art O_o

I'll say it straight. I really love this guy! Just like Ivy (a very similar card) he packs a massive punch on the first few rounds, forcing a good chunk of pillz or risk letting the poison hit you. The best thing is this guy's poison is actually scarily strong for a 2* with a very low minimum of 2....take that Freaks!!!!

People have complained that SOA and manipulators make him very redundant. But....but he's only your 2* card? Who really cares if the enemy uses Quibik with a few pillz against him...there goes the SOA card into probably your weakest card! And against Gheist/Roots there will always be some fodder card that he can prevent from deadpilling (DAMN YOU ARKN)

Again this guy's only real flaw is SOB (A very strong trend in this clan smiley ) that makes him easily beatable and takes away that pill advantage.

Other than SOB, the 'flaws' are minor considering his star count and the potential he carries. Forcing a good chunk of pillz against your weakest card is always a good thing!!

For this my little ball headbutting friend you get a spot on 7.5/10

Obvious reference in 'Zapata Head-Butt' to Emiliano Zapata, a Mexican political figure and leader of a peasant's rebellion in the 20th century.
