Lino Borsa Common Card Montana

Artwork for Lino Borsa (not creative): http://kirlad.no-ip.com/juegos/urban-rivals/character.php?show=109

Level ONE: Power/Damage= 2/1
Level TWO: Power/Damage=2/3
Level THREE: Power/Damage= 3/4 No Ability

Character Bio:
Lino Borsa is a young and ambitious guy. As one of their henchman, he's actually pretty scary when it's time for action. To prove himself to the Montanas, Lino must impose a reign of terror in the areas that fall within the family's control.

Personal Opinions:
This card is not very good. This card has very low power and an OK amount of damage at level three. I guess this card wouldn't be too bad to use as a beginner. Lino Borsa's bonus is very important if you want a win. Without that -12, he would be useless. In order for his bonus to actually be useful, he would have to use at least 2 pills. That won't win the battle though. You might have to add a pill or two in order to win. I recommend that you get a different Montana like Mona or Ottavia.

Replacement Available from Clan: Mona, Ottavia, Giovanni, Simon, Aldo, Zodiack, Lyse Teria Cr

Rate on a scale for Level: 4.5/10

Lino Borsa = Borsalino.

The hat company, not the One Piece villain.

I guess there aren't enough comments about his art so i'll post another one. smiley

Lvl1: It's time for a staring competition. Bring it on! smiley
Lvl2: I can change my outfit while still staring at you. I am awesome and my new outfit is awesome too! smiley
Lvl3: Someone took my hat from me. smiley Wait... the competition still goes on. smiley

Lino Borsa 's artwork is as original and well designed as he is useful for fighting. He's not anywhere near being usable and his art sucks so just keep him in your collection and out of your decks.

The only thing more criminal than his stats and that dress sense is his name. Lino Borsa, when translated to English, means "Linen Bag" XD

Ah Lino Borsa, what can you say about one of the game's earliest cards.

-He was never really part of any of the metas of this game.
-His profile reads out like a basic mission from a videogame.
-His artwork is terrible(and repetitive, though for those who know teamchman's work, repetition is pretty much his modus operandi)
-His star count is what most most would say is in the forte of the Montana clan, and that's no help.
-He doesn't have an ability, which is granted due to his age,but my god it wouldnt have killed him to get something at least half decent.
-You would actually have to pill on him twice for him to be effective at all.
-If i really put everything that kills him on thist list it wouldn't leave a whole lot, would it?

How do i put this about him? He isnt mediocre. He isnt bad.He isnt terrible. He isnt even god-awful.He's really that scraping from the bottom of the barrel of crappy cards. It's not just all those reasons that he's terrible,it's the fact he's so bland that you cant make fun of this card. There isn't the lopsided stats or the randomness of him being in the clan when he's not supposed to be in the clan, there's not even an interesting story. There's no hypothetical power/damage switch that could help him.Ambre only makes him average, and it takes a lot of work to make Ambre ineffective, and when you do that, that's saying something.

And when a card isn't even of any use to be entertaining enough to be a joke card, that's really bad.

But there has to be a use or two about him doesn't there?

Well he's got his use as a card for collecting, and pre-full levelers are probably happy he's around since not that many people buy him,so at least he's making somebody happy.

But if you asked me,this card would be the worst card of all time, and that's factoring everything.

Ok i have many problems with him. Number 1 his art is very uncreative 2 even with the effect of Montana he still is very bad and hard to win with 3 his damage isnt even that good so theres no point in having him win really

Level 2: 2/3
Level 3: 3/4

Lino Borsa is a poor 3 star card for Montana
-Level 1: 2/1, Level 2: 2/3, Level 3: 3/4
-No ability
-Even with his Bonus Lino Borsa has a hard time defeating anyone.
-Not even a good filler for Montana as he is one of thier weakest cards.
-The artwork is lame as their is nothing original through his evolutions just color changes to his clothing.

Lino Borsa

Lv1: 2/1
Lv2: 2/3
Lv3: 3/4

PROS:
-Can't think of any

CONS:
-Lousy power
-Not-so-great damage
-No ability

GENERAL:
Lino Borsa is easily one of the best competitors for the top spot in any Most-Useless-Cards-in-Montana competitions, right next to Zodiack. With his lousy power of 3, no one can foresee Lino Borsa winning anything at all, making him a sacrificial pawn at best. As a bluff, he will have to Pill twice just to meet the 8 attack barrier that his own bonus creates, which is bad news; any 7 powered card can pill twice and have the same attack as he does in the end. Same Pillz, same attack, and if the other guy's a 2* or a 3* which went first, you just wasted 2 valuable Pillz. He is terrible as a wall, and can't do much damage on the side either.

To make things worse, he has NO ability to speak of. Looking on the bright side of things, I suppose you COULD claim that SOA doesn't affect him, but that's a poor lie and you know it. Almost any other 3* Montana card (less Zodiack of course) outshines Lino Borsa; Sharon, Ottavia, Mona... even Giovanni and Simon, who you get as starters.

Lino Borsa might be young and ambitious, but I guess that's all he'll ever stay as. As for imposing that reign of terror, I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

OVERALL:
0.5/10

Sunday 17/01/2010, 11:57

Advantages:
No abilaty means that he dosn't have to worry about cards that stop ability.
He is cheap at 200clintz.
He is a common so she is easy to get.
The clan bonus -12 opponent attack means that the opponent will have to usally use 2 more pillz then you to win.

Disadvantages.
3 power is really low if you don't have an ability to raise it.
4 damage for a 3* card is low then normal.
The minimum of 8 in the clan bonus means that it dosn't work in a no pillz fight usally.
